Bear Moon Bakery Cafe

As soon as you walk up you will know how good it is. They vent the air out and it smells like suger, spice, and everything nice. They also have a great buffet breakfast that I love.

Came here with daughter and her 15 month old
They were outrageously kind and accommodating. The food was tasty, served promptly, and our waitress, Melanie, was a peach. And my chai was yummy as was the soup and sandwiches. Lived here a while and so glad I tried it!

I arrived Sunday at around noon with my mom for lunch. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait, so we decided to just grab a coffee and pastry to go. The girl at the pastry counter was notably unfriendly (never a smile or thank you), and by the time were being paying (5 minutes later at most) the people behind us in the original dine-in line were being seated at a table. I understand calculating wait times is an art not a not a science, but a hostess should certainly be able to tell the difference in a 5 v. 25 minute wait. That said, the pastries were excellent as they always are. Hopefully next time there will be better service.

If you have not been to Bear Moon then I beg you to please go check it out. The staff there is amazing. They have a breakfast buffet that is definitely a great deal. They also sell pastries and other items at the counter as well as some pretty good coffee. I go here at least once a week with my family.

we all know the locals are racist against anything not pale skin. this location upholds racism. not worth your time unless you're into bigotry.

3.5. interior seating quite limited as was outdoor. Main Street traffic frenzied and noisy. Pastry, coffee, drinks tasty, reasonably priced. Staff courteous.

The cinnamon roll was great, but the coffee had a strange pecan like flavour, it tasted nice however it would be best if it was just regular black coffee

Love that the food is mostly organic and the breads are made in house. The chicken pot pie is wonderful. They also make the best lattes currently in Boerne/Main Street. The service and small town feel can't be beat.

Most amazing coffee ever... not like a little I mean EVER. It is the strongest most awesome mmmmm mmmm good coffee. Go drink some. And the pastries are good too. I bought a little ($16 small and overpriced) but amazingly cute cake for my niece's birthday. I have to say homemade butter cream was wonderful. My husband swears the food is good but I haven't tried it... because coffee. Go drink coffee.
