Texas Grill Restaurant

My husband and I had the chicken fried steak and it was bland. The rolls were bland. My daughter had the Chicken strips and those were also bland. It’s like the cook doesn’t season any of the food. Not worth the price. Will not eat here again.

Love this place. Staff is great. I have never had a bad experience there. They make everything just like I ask.

Never had anything but Breakfasts , but that's the reason to go here. Fast friendly service. Large portions for the price. I even took bacon home from my bacon omelet.

Country. VERY. The service was really good, an elderly, cute, nicely dressed lil woman. Made sure we got our trays and explained that drink orders were taken at the table. They have a buffet style, or menu ordering eatery. I did the buffet. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread. The white gravy was awesome. The cornbread was a bit dry so get the roll. I'm giving a 4 star for selfish reasons....it's not their fault I stood out like it a sore thumb. So dress the part; don't go out of your way to look great. (nice is ok) I'm a girl so....🥰

Good breakfast place...
Usually have omelets and we like them. Ask for some salsa, they make it and it's great.
Do not order the chicken fried steak, it looks like it should be in a banquet tv dinner: chopped meat covered in bad breading.

Attentive staff; your coffee mug won't stay empty long. Some of the waitresses are friendly, some aren't.
Old style diner; dated decor and restroom.
They offer cafeteria style lunch after 11am, but we have not tried it. Not open for dinner.

Three of my friends stopped in for lunch 11-10-18 and there was just nothing to complain about, Sandy, our waitress was excellent and made us feel like we were at home. Tea an coffee stayed full, each item of food was great. For sure we will be repeat customers in the future.we all eat out several times a week, and it was finely good to find a restaurant that has everything going to please their customers. Gona try their breakfast menu the next visit.

Wait staff friendly and efficient. We had BBQ pork ribs so tender the meat was falling off the bone. Also chicken fried steak with gravy just like grandma made. Reasonable priced and family friendly. I saw a party room in back. Will definitely go back.

We got there at the tail end of the buffet, so we really are to blame. Was not great but not bad. Just average. Definitely would give it another try!

Extremely good food! Good old-fashioned homemade food. The wait staff is awesome! All around extremely good place to eat! Perfect place to take the kids, the family, to sit back and relax to have coffee. This place may look a little old on the outside, but their food is so very good it is extremely worth the stop! If you don't eat here, you don't know what good food is!
