OMG! This place made me feel like as being baptized into the church of holy breakfast waitstaff was running around like a fine tuned classic 150 firing on all cylinders.even the owners were Were in on this ride to holy breakfast happiness. Old school breakfast the way it should be! made me proud to be a Texan living in Bastrop

Breakfast menu offers a wide variety, I get the Texas size omelette and of course coffee which are both excellent. The lunch is all laid out for you to see I got the chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and a veggie. Iced tea is freshly brewed. All other restaurants... we can tell if it’s yesterday's tea. Everyone is neighborly type friendly here.

Most bland breakfast I’ve ever had. Pancakes taste like they’re straight out of the freezer. With so many other breakfast places nearby, I’m not sure why anyone would choose this spot. Overpriced for what you get, too. If your taste buds no longer function, I suppose you’d enjoy it!

It’s a great cafe. A true old time Texas country cafe, which have become as rare as “honest” politicians. Good food and good service. Had breakfast there and the sausage omelette was superb.

Have gone here now and then for years, the country homey atmosphere is great, and the servers have that same country friendly gruffness about them. The coffee seems to be good. The food though, leaves much to be desired. Besides regularly coming out at room temp.

Overpriced , terrible food , terrible service ! First time here and everyone at our table was disappointed. I didn’t even touch my plate after the appetizers . Pancakes tasted like they came out of the freezer . Took forever to get food and they were out of several things . People ain’t had good food if they rate this good food 😤

Very good staff and good food. The chicken fried steak was very delicious and tasty. Everything was great! My Mom loved the catfish. We both had leftovers to take home. 👍👍👍👍

Great place for breakfast. Fast friendly service and the food it's good. They have good sounding lunch cafeteria style but we have only had breakfast. I recommend it. The also have hand-formed sirloin burgers and hand made onion rings - yummm.
