We enjoyed our meal here today. My eggs were cooked just right and my husband liked his chicken fried steak. Becca our waitress was real nice.

Absolutely the best breakfast omelet I've ever eaten. Veggie omelet with added ham I forced myself to eat every delicious bite. So much food. The next visit, I ordered the veggies omelet and added ham and bacon!! I had to tip the cook also. Great service, great chips and friendly locals & staff.

I was in town for business this morning with a friend who works in Bastrop. He took me here for breakfast. Not too bad at all.
Nice local place. I had the breakfast steak plate. Eggs were cooked to my liking. I requested "over medium". Done right.
The hasbrowns we plentiful and cooked well.
The bacon was good portion cut sized and well tasting. I enjoyed it.

The downside was the steak. Good potion size for the price. It just lacked flavor and punch. Real bland. Had to doctor it up a bit.

Our waitress was very friendly and on her game. Even though it was a full house, she continuted to check up on is frequently. Great job on customer service.

Overall i say a good strong B+. I recommend that you try this place at least once. I know that I would come back if I'm ever in town again.

Thank you Texas Grill. Had a nice breakfast to start off the morning.

The waitress was Great. My husband breakfast was Good. The biscuits were delicious. I could not even eat the salad I ordered. If you would even call it a salad.
It was terrible. The waitress took care of us and didn't charge us for something I couldn't eat. Kudos to the waitress.

Good service, fast and tasty. The steak was perfect and coffee steady. Recommended stop next time I pass through. Soft biscuits and gravy rounded out the Texas Breakfast I had.

One can tell this restaurant has been there for years(assuming)due to the "old" odd smell when you enter. There was a crowd of people so we decided to give it a try. The food was decent, the coffee was great and our waitress Rebeca was attentive. The only real let down was their hours. They were only open until 2:30pm if I remember correctly. So if you are waiting in line to sit down at Dennys, come on down a block to give the Texas Grill a spin. Breakfast all day.

Took the whole family in while driving through, over 10 of us. Great options, something for everyone. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. Looks like a local regular spot

We really enjoy coming here for a good old fashioned breakfast during Sherwood Forest Renaissance Festival. Sandy is awesome and always takes care of us.

The food was good and a fair price. Service was good, and we never had to wait for anything. We will be back.

Not an awful experience; but not a great experience. Server was less than friendly - just seemed to be her overall demeaner. Maybe a bad day, so I'll give her a pass. The food was not bad, it was an ok breakfast... maybe I expected more? Coffee was a tad burnt, not too bad. The biscuits and gravy didn't have much flavor (add a lot of butter), though they were soft and fresh. I'd give another shot, people have bad days.
