Take Me Back Cafe

Country cooking at it's finest! Their only open till 2pm and 8pm on Friday. This is what the hours on the door said, but on line it says something different, so I would double check. We had the meatloaf special, which came with 3 sides. The slice of meatloaf was generous and the sides were good size. It was a lot of food for 8.99 and we couldn't finish all of it. I've had meatloaf at other restaurants that left me swearing not to order it again but I was surprised at how good this meatloaf was. Almost as good as mine and mine is really good. We will definitely go back.

Been going here off and on for years.
It's always my LAST choice because everytime I go here My order is always screwed up somehow.
Decided to give it another try today.
My food came out, hasbrowns were barely cooked.
Asked for butter, never got it until I was done eating.
Was told they were going to make new hasbrowns for me and it would only take a second, they never came.
Only saw our server twice!

If your looking for a breakfast/dinner option that's similar menu, go to Southside, Westwood market, Ann & Dave's, anywhere but here!!!!
Huddle house is a better option for breakfast!!

Don’t know why we stayed. We walked in the door and the floor was littered with dirty napkins, toothpicks and other assorted items. The floor was also in a desperate need for mopping as was the wall where our table was and that was the cleanest table we could find.

We were never greeted by anyone, seated ourselves, and had to ask for menus as no one approached us.

I had a cheeseburger 🍔 and my wife had the ultimate grilled cheese 🧀 sandwich 🥪. They were tasty. No one came by after having the food delivered to our table.

The bathroom was only slightly better than the eating area.

We liked the food but would not go back. The cleanliness of this establishment is a major issue.

Take me back cafe is a very good place to eat. I had fish and all the fixings.

We've heard all the good raves about this place so we decided to try it! Got there after 12pm. Breakfast bar ($12.49 each) was open so we decided to eat that! Bad choice! Potatoes were hard, biscuits were hockey pucks, French toast sticks looked as if they had been out for 2 weeks! First and last time I will ever eat here! Was no where near worth the $32 spent!!

The food was very good and the service was great, even the customers inside greeted me with a smile and a hello. Customers were talking with a moderate voice one I would call country and seemed to know everyone coming and going, the place was clean- no dust, no food/ trash on the floors, tables were clean, no sticky food residue on them, waitresses were polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall experience was really a great place to stop in for a bite to eat or just a cup of coffee or for a break from driving or to meet up with friends.

Had a fantastic Meal in a relaxed cafe atmosphere our waitress was the best with service and genuine charm! Delicious Old School Southern Catfish Steak dinner.This is a meal that you rarely find anymore.!! Will be back!!

The cheese curds are excellent, the staff are attentive, the restrooms are clean. You'll see Elvis and 1950s decor inside. Makes for a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon.
