Take Me Back Cafe

Food is usually good but not very consistent, order the same thing over multiple visits and it will look and taste different every time.

They call it Take Me Back because if it's like our order, you'll be ready to have them take it back. The catfish 'fillets' are nuggets now and when I called the owner, she assured me they were just like Knott's Landing used to make. That is not true. They never sent the full order even after returning it after ordering by delivery. The owner very rudely blamed the delivery company and spoke very unprofessionally. After sending us only a partial order back, I know this was solely a Take Me Back issue. I would not advise anyone to go here. It is under new ownership and it shows. Malcolm and Virginia would be ashamed of the product being put out that the owner claims is just like they used to make at Knott's Landing. If the owner treats every customer with an issue like she did me, no one will want to bother with this restaurant.

I love the food and service they provide here. Always friendly wait staff and they treat you like family. The best breakfast in town, in my opinion. We have a very large family and they have always accommodated us. Even rearranging the dining room. Our family easily takes up half of the dining area! Keep up the great work!

If you were around a few years ago and remember how good knott's landing fish was with the vinegar slaw and hush puppies you are going to want to come to take me back cafe. Cause its good.... Get out and go eat Henry county .

I ate there with my friend that I haven't seen you in a couple of years the other day we went to breakfast I live about 30 miles from Paris Tennessee which is the place of take me back I live in the Murray Kentucky area but me and my friend hadn't seen each other in a while so we decided to have breakfast and she recommended take me back. So I met her there I don't have a very good parking area but if you want to eat there it's well worth the parking looking for parking. They have very good food I enjoyed every bite of it there was plenty of it the prices are great my eggs were cooked perfect it got the grace greatest biscuits and gravy and our bacon if you want it crisp you can get it crisp and it's not burnt we sat there and add coffee for over an hour after we got through eating and we just had a really good time and we will be back for breakfast lunch whenever they're open and I'm going to take more of my friends there cuz it's a really good comfortable place to eat nice and clean to I would recommend this place to anybody that lives in the area or just passing through there in Paris Tennessee. Loved it

They offer 2 -16 oz Sirloin steaks for 23.99. Great value . Plenty of food. Real good baked beans. All you can eat catfish is quite delicious and they sent out enough fish on the first platter to do even the hungriest man! I will be glad to go again.

My favorite restaurant in Paris! Bar none. Owner Steve is on property and the servers are friendly. Great meat and 3 Plus more! It's the place I take my family every Friday or Saturday night. The catfish is perfect - tastes like crappie fish, not the standard catfish you get everywhere else. I top mine with vinegar slaw. Voila! Smack-ya-momma good smoked jumbo chicken leg quarters only on Saturday! Also only place to get Steak-N-eggs for breakfast in town! And real sweet tea!

I always recommend this place all the time. When family and cousins come to town we eat here, period. I know it might sound like I work here but I don't. I travel for a living and this is a great restaurant I look forward to when I come home. I'll see you there this weekend!

Couldn't be bothered to correct their hours on the internet.....I just did for them....so I checked to see if they were open, it said till 8. Drove 20 min to get there.....AND THEY ARE CLOSED!

I go there at least once a week and sometimes even more for some of the best fish dinners I have ever had, the service is awesome also prices are great I tell everyone that ask where is a good place to eat in town try Take Me Back Cafe the fish is at the top. If you don't like fish they have much more to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant.
