Take Me Back Cafe

Waitress was very nice and fun to talk to. Food was good but could have used 1 more piece of toast. Waitress did her best to make sure everything was good.

Maybe all of the impatient rude transplants that moved to slow paced Tennessee who are complaining about the slow service and how long their food took should go back to where they came from. That will speed up service for all of us natives.... and traffic too..Ha!.
Its a diner, not a fast food restaurant. We have eaten here several times the food and service has been just great.

These were some really good pancakes. So thick but yet so fluffy. Would have been a 5 star of they would serve then with real butter instead of margarine. My husband had the meat lovers omelet and he said that was really good also. You sure don't leave hungry.

Haven't been here in awhile. If you're looking for a bland tasting breakfast; this the place. Salt &pepper is a basic ingredient when cooking.

Take Me Back Cafe has long been a favorite of my family. You just can’t go wrong here. Service is always great, and the food even better. If you ever have any problems at all, simply let the owner know and he will always make it right. My favorites? The catfish and the brisket. My wife loves the honey-fried chicken.

I’m here to express my personal experiences with the restaurant. First off, the service is always some what decent. The waitress’ make sure when i’m ready and always ask for refills. The one down side of them is that when you get your main course, they seem to not check on you. Both times i’ve been, i’ve had to ask for them to take my plates and take my check. The first time I went, i went for breakfast. I got two over medium eggs and four pieces of toast. When I got the food, it was pretty amazing. Perfectly seasoned and the toast was just buttered and crisped good. However, today when I ate lunch with my friend, he got the four piece tender dinner and I got the bbq nachos and a patty melt. He said his chicken tasted like stored bought Tyson chicken that has been in the air fryer for to long. Which when I tasted it, it tasted just like he said. With my bbq nachos, i asked for a lot of jalapeños and only got five. A few pieces of the bbq was rock hard cold which wasn’t pleasant. Finally with the patty melt, I asked the waitress if they could cut the onion up instead of strips and she said of course. Well when I got my burger, they gave me not grilled onion but raw onion. I was very disappointed: The worse thing about the burger it’s self was that the burger looked and tasted that it was microwave. In conclusion, I would go back for breakfast. But don’t take me back for lunch.

Couldn't wait to go check out Take Me Back Cafe. I looked at the posts read the specials and really wanted to see the local restaurant to succeed in a world of fast food; ...I went on Saturday around 2:30; The waitress brushed off the crumbs off the dirty sticky table ask about our drinks threw 2 menus down...I asked about the specials she spun this white sign around and walked off. She brought our drinks and stood there looking out the front window...I ask if we could have a minute...well 10 minutes later after walking past by our table several times, never looking our way grabbed the menus for another table ( I guess). I decided to ask the girl cleaning tables for some straws but after another 5 minutes..I threw in the towel gave up on the little diner I've been reading about on Facebook and excited to visit ☹️☹️☹️

Very busy but good service

We love this place. The service is always warm and prompt. This was our first time here for breakfast. Eggs were perfect, hot, and more food than I knew what to do with other than a to go box. Prices are great. We always try and eat at this little diner when we are in Paris
