Abridged Beer Company (The Brewpub)

Nice friendly place to eat. Definitely stop by if you're from out of town!

Came here for the first time with a couple of friends, ordered some drinks, apps, and entrees. The wait time was very quick, everyone was wearing masks and gloves, and the staff was very friendly. Every beer we had was fantastic. We ordered the pretzels with pimento and French cut wings, and a few of their sandwiches. Everything at the table was super hot, fresh, and delicious. Honestly though, the best part was the service. Our server Ace was incredible. She regularly used our names, came to the table at the perfect moments, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I will be back.

Abridged has done a great job making an old garage into a beautiful space for a brewery. It’s great having a craft brewery on the west side of town!

This is a great place! Beer was awesome and there was something for every taste. The food was great as well and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. Friendly service and comfortable patio seating (we didn't go inside). I highly recommend!

Love this place. Great food and great beer. The only thing is don’t sit at the wood tables outside if you a bigger person they are very low to the ground and very uncomfortable. Otherwise this place probably has the best Berger in town and the staff has always been very nice.

Solid lineup of beers - really enjoyed the hazy IPA and fruit-forward sours.

Previously, I would’ve given a five star review, but they changed their wings. The old wings were french cut and had all the meat pushed up to one end. They were fantastic. The new wings are from some nasty, roided out chickens like any other low-tier restaurant. Very disappointing.

Good beer though.

We came here for some pre-dinner drinks. Super friendly service from the host to the server. Beer selection was nice: I fell in love with the Fields of Gold. I’ll be hitting this place up again on my return visit to Knoxville.

We LOVE abridged. The food is amazing. Service is great. I love that they’re doing so well. However I do wish they could upgrade to a bigger building. The last 3 times that we’ve been the wait time has been 45min- 1 hour. We have a toddler and just can’t wait that long. We’re always so bummed when we can’t eat there.

An absolute must go while in town. Beers were excellent. Loved the pretzels and mustard. Will be back again!
