I love this place! Excellent food with a great selection of beer. It has a very laid back atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone. I have seen the crowd change from families with small children to young professionals to senior citizens within a few hours of each other. I suggest their burgers but the menu has many good options.

The beers are fantastic. The food is good, but that Abridged burger is FANTASTIC. My husband ate one the first time we went and he loved it so much he said he dreamed about it. So we went again and I also got one and yeah, it's great. And normally I'm not a fan of burgers. There is adequate beer garden style seating outside with outdoor heaters from when it's cold. Indoor it's a little tight, and it the busy hour you might have to stand in line for quite some time to order food.

Food is absolutely delicious!

Had a flight of 4 beers: 3 of which were delicious (Misidentified was my favorite), the Synchronous tasted like the back of a wet shoe that was worn by a stoner that just hotboxed his car. It was dank, musty, and honestly disgusting.

Other than that I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff are really friendly and accommodating.

This place has great beer. It's full of flavor and most of their brews have playful names. The atmosphere is great inside or outside, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

The Abridged Burger is one of the best in Knoxville right up there with Stock and Barrel, which is saying a lot. The upside to Abridged is that you don't have to worry about a potential 2-3 hour wait.

Definitely a great addition to the Knoxville food and beer scenes.

Best burger that I have found in Knoxville!
(And I've been looking for a decade at this point)

The burgers are flavorful, moist, and are actually cooked to desired temperature!
Selection of different kind of burgers/topping is limited, but it is because they have focused on making two amazing burgers (and one burger of the month) instead of a bunch of mediocre ones, and I can really appreciate that.

The brisket patties make for a very flavorful and well balanced fat/lean ratio.

The fries are well portioned and excellently seasoned! (and only occasionally overcooked)

Been here multiple times, have no been disappointed, and will keep coming back!

For starters, the beer is fantastic. They have lots of different styles and flavors, all with really clever names. They also rotate them regularly, so check in often for different fabulous beers to taste.

Secondly, the food, well there isn't much to say. For those who have not been here before, I can help. Start with the pot roast nachos, you will thank me. Great portion for two, three if you are feeling extra generous (I can't, but that is a character failing on my part). Then add in a chicken club sandwich (crispy, of course). Between this and the beer, we have reached the pinnacle of flavor, you really don't need to order anything else. I suppose, you could order the abridged burger, but it is not the chicken sandwich.

Otherwise, come here as often as you can, it is fantastic.

A good beer selection with something for everyone. Always busy, even on weekday afternoons. Despite the phenomenal reviews, my burger didn't measure up. It medium well instead of medium, there was no pink at all, and it was way over salted. I know they use quality meat, but all I could taste was salt; it buried any beef flavor that may have existed. I don't know if over cooked and over salted is normal. I'll eventually try again, and ask for medium rare and no salt.

This was a nice place. I found some tasty beers on tap. They had an impressive selection for the size of the place. I'm guessing they make a lot of micro batches. I didn't have the burger but I talked to many of my friends that did and they enjoyed it. The pretzel want very impressive though.

Really cool atmosphere inside. Think it would be a great place for a casual meeting or date of you want to focus on the conversation. Just make sure trivia night or some other event isn't going on.

This place has amazing food! I went for a beer and had some lunch. The burger is easily one of the best in Knoxville. Beer selection includes something for everyone. The atmosphere is extremely kid friendly. Story books and pints, what a great combination.

Picnic tables for seating large parties is purely ridiculous! The kids had to sit at another table to make room, which is fine, but we were advised they would have a separate tab from ours. Which is just silly. The beer list didn't have any descriptions for any of the beer. And the nacho chips were burnt. The service was good though. The atmosphere music was a bit loud.
