Abridged Beer Company (The Brewpub)

This place has the best burger in Knoxville, the Abridged Burger is what burger dreams are made of. The beer is good and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I always have a good time here and writing this makes me want to go there tonight.

New to TN from CA, been desperate to find somewhere with good beer/food AND service...THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Devyn was our server-AMAZING- all the staff was amazing, everyone helps run food and drinks so you're never waiting...take it from two long time restaurant industry workers, this is the place to go!

Great beers. I liked the Sours they had. My buddies usually drink the ipa’s but people that drink sours are faster on mountain bikes.

First time here. I had heard about the burger, about how it was the best in town. As far as brisket burgers are concerned I can say that is the best brisket burger in town. It is not the absolute best burger, but it is good. I liked the pretzel brioche bun, not too much bread, just enough. The fries we're too over-seasoned for my taste and I am not a fan of twice fried fries, but my friends liked them. Inside the building is nice, loud but nice. The staff seem friendly and approachable, which is a huge plus in this town. As far as the beer is concerned, I can't tell you. I do not drink so I can't give an up or down vote. The place is clean. There is a lot of communal seating. And the walk from the church parking lot is nice during the evening hours.

Had such a great experience here! First time here and we were so pleasantly surprised by the genuine friendliness of the crew! Outstanding people here! The beer was excellent and love the grilled chicken salad! Such a nice relaxed atmosphere! Also just a heads up, park in the church parking lot next door!

Fantastic Beer! Fantastic Food! Service needs some help. Waited hour and half for food... which is good for abridged because I was able to drink a lot while waiting.

Service is great for the number of guests. Food and beer are good for regular visits. Dog and family friendly. Be nice to the church next door!!

This place has absolutely amazing food. The alcohol is brewed to perfection. The only thing I couldn't get around was our server who seemed to have an off day and was very curt with us. Also nobody explained to us you need to scan a QR code in order to look at a menu. Overall I wouldn't change my score.

The beers are delicious and creative, and Abridged has great sour beers if you’re a fan.

But even if you don’t drink, you should come just for the food. They have the best burger in town (even better than Stock & Barrel IMO), and their monthly burger and chicken sandwich specials are always on point. They use a unique seasoning on their fries, and their fries stay crispy even when I’ve gotten takeout.

Service is always friendly and prompt, and the curbside pickup system that they implemented at the beginning of the pandemic has been flawless. Try them out!

Well to start off with I'm not a picky person and don't uselly get upset. But I ordered food from here too go for lunch as I work less then 2 minutes down the road I figured I would just take it to go. After ordering I waited in my cat for well over 30 minutes. Then when I finally did get my food I went back to work and ate it in my car. The fries were cold and hard like they had been left out for awhile. The burger was also cold and cooked wrong to begin with. The cheese had been melted but resalidified showing that it was hot at one point. It kinda ruined the whole experience. I don't know if they had just left me food out way to long or they just don't care. I definitely would not recommend this place to my friends or coworkers just from this experience.
