I drove 40 minutes to try it and it was closed for winter break! I’m fine with people taking a break, but they didn’t update their hours on Google so it shows them open. It’s not even very clear on their Instagram (which I only checked after I drove 40 minutes to find it closed). It was mentioned that they close often for breaks. Please update google accordingly when you do.

I happened upon this place by accident, but I'm very glad I did! It's a very unique coffee shop in a tiny house. The couple who own it were very friendly, and the shop is very clean. I had the iced Campfire and a pumpkin donut with chocolate frosting. They were both delicious! I highly recommend this place.

Talk about a hidden gem. I’m just gonna parrot what everyone says about the friendly owners and the atmosphere. We’re usually out and about on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and this has become a favorite stop. Having recently relocated to Mid TN this is exactly the type of place we look to frequent. Great coffee, great treats, and great conversation. The owners couldn’t be nicer. I personally recommend the blackberry mocha, aka Papa Byrd.
For those who complain about the wait, we’ve never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes, usually well under that. If you drive by a food or drink establishment and there’s a line that should tell you something. If you want the green queen you can find that in Franklin. But if you’re in a hurry on Leiper’s Creek Rd you’ve got bigger problems.
Looking forward to our next visit!

Great cold brew coffee after hiking. Excited to get more coffee items in the future.

We love RedByrd!
The coffee is amazing and the couple that runs it is incredible. (I'm a introvert and even I love small-talking with them--- they're just so sweet and uplifting.)
I recommend the "mama bird" latte- a lovely latte with lavender aroma.
They have many alternative milk options, even oat milk! They have some yummy vegan snack options, too, if that is your thing.
The grounds behind the coffee shop are wonderful. Very pretty, peaceful and spacious with many benches/picnic tables in the shade. (And it's great if you have kids because there's a swing set and a big field for them to run around! See my included photos...taken from my lovely, shady seat drinking coffee yesterday :). )

A real treasure in Liepers Fork. The coffee, the people, the setting. It's terrific.
