Loved the experience! From the moment I got out of my car and heard song birds in the surrounding trees to the clean and simple indoor aesthetic bathed in light to the cozy outdoor courtyard seating courtyard filled with plants and flowers, I thoroughly enjoyed 1819 coffee. And the coffee was great with unique signature and seasonal menu items. The food options were limited but good - muffins, bagels and some filled pastries. And the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!
1819 Coffee. My third time coming here. First time review. I’ll definitely be coming back. Very peaceful. Lots of room to spread out. Inside/outside. All the space, all the choices. Awesome staff. Respectful, efficient, and kind. Love the ambiance. Love the vibe. Love the style. Definitely recommend coming here but part of me doesn’t want to recommend because I want it to stay a hidden gem.
Great location and services. I tried their Hazelnut latte with oat milk, pretty nice, not overly sweet. Their pastry is good too. The donut is gluten free. My friend got strawberry cake. The atmosphere is clean, busy in the early morning, by 9:45 AM, the crowd seemed to disappeared. There are extra spaces inside the main house. But I prefer this old bar converted into a coffee shop because I can see the greenery around the exterior. Comfortable chairs. Plenty of pastries but they keep their coffee menus simple. Will be back again for sure.
What a cool experience! The coffee and snacks are top notch, but what makes this a really interesting experience is that the coffee shop is attached to a historic home. Visitors can buy a cup of coffee and go enjoy one of the many rooms inside the Manor, which all offer a different ambiance. The staff is fantastic and the property outside the coffee shop is great too. This place is by far my favorite coffee shop in the Franklin area.
Very impressed with the layout of this place. Lots of land to walk a dog or picnic, very cute coffee shop, and looks like a nice wedding venue. Def would come back.
This photo says enough. My mother and I are on a road-trip and joyfully stopped at this beautiful establishment. Staff was kind. However this black moldy apple bread is unacceptable. We left at 4 AM to travel back to Texas from Tennessee. This was my breakfast. I was back on the road eating the bread when I realized it tasted weird.. I looked down and what I saw was horrifying. I began pulling the whole bread apart and thought it was clumps of black cat fur until I noticed it was all black mold! Extremely dangerous to health. We’ve tried multiple times to call them.. nobody is answering the phone. Beware.
I was visiting the area from out of state and some local friends brought me here. I absolutely LOVE the concept of opening the old house for community seating and gathering. It was quiet, cozy, and I loved looking at the different artwork displayed on the walls. When the weather got nicer and the door was open to the fresh outside air, it felt like sitting on the front porch on a beautiful day, even while inside. What a great place! I'll return whenever I'm back for a visit.
I loved my time at 1819! As soon as I pulled on to the property I could tell it was a special place! The shop had a great atmosphere and the staff was so nice and friendly, especially the sweet barista who took our order! I just moved to Franklin and will definitely be coming back! 10/10 recommend!
I love the amount of gluten free options! I asked for sugar in my decaf latte and I think they misheard because they put in brown sugar lol it was still delicious.
