First time here, what an awesome place, highly recommended
Second time here, even better this time, just love the tea and the food is outstanding

We enjoyed the ambiance, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We chose to sample all 6 teas from two flights and it was nice to taste all the options. The food was flavorful and well-cooked, but we felt it was over priced. The sampler, that they titled “3-tier” was $16.95 and we all left still hungry. While the experience was positive overall, the value was lacking and that is the only reason for the 4 star review.

Cute venue, amazing staff and wonderful food and herbal teas. Also menu changes twice a month. Big plus for foodies looking for a different taste

Went to brunch on Sunday with my coworker. The drinks were so good and unique. Love the atmosphere and the customer service was 5 star worthy! I ordered the brunch tower and it filled me up! Great prices.

Our biggest disappointment of the Sango area! I imagined that I would frequent this place, but I'll never go again.
We went multiple times, thinking each time *this will be the time the Mad Herbalist is good.* Well, it never was. The "meals" were more like sad little snacks arranged by a child. The tea was okay, but again, small portions.
My biggest issue with the place isn't the food or drink-- I can forgive mediocre cuisine for a nice atmosphere and kind staff. Unfortunately for me, however, the Mad Herbalist provides neither. The tables are uncomfortable, and the staff is careless at best and totally rude at worst. One time, my husband and our baby were seated in one room when the waiter made us relocate to a different room. Well, ten minutes later he allowed a different couple to sit in the room in which we were previously seated. Unbelievable!

Loved the uniqueness of the place. Outside atmosphere was great. Band was good. Food was good

The location is hard to see but worth the search. It is located in an old log cabin attached to a beautiful white house. They have a great selection of teas and the food, although simple, is made with high quality ingredients.

Absolutely love the mad Herbalist, I've been looking for a good tea shop for a while, and when this place opened, I found a great one. Have and always will recommend this place.

Beautiful atmosphere and amazing teas. Definitely feels like you're transported to a whole new place despite being right in town. Brunch was pretty good, small portions but prices reflect that. We will definitely be back during the week to try their rotating regular menu.
