I had the most wonderful experience at The Mad Herbalist. The atmosphere is so incredibly charming and the staff is very kind and helpful. They moved a bench into the shade for us and brought water and blankets for our dogs so they would be comfortable on the gravel. The teamosas were great and the tea raddler was delicious. They helped us with great suggestions when we weren't sure what to order. I got a grilled cheese which was tasty as were the chips. Just wish they would have had the vegan cheese available. The hammock is a nice addition to owe, super cozy! We will definitely be back as will our happy pups!

This place is a hidden gem! We were sitting at the light and saw the small sign. I thought it was a tea store and I'm down for tea, anytime!! My wife and I love the concept of the old log cabin and there's a good history for it as well. The ambiance is awesome for studying, quiet time, or a quiet chat with friends. The outdoor seating is also great for sitting under the trees in the open air. Although it's close to the road it's super quiet. I loved the flight of tea sampler and the bread and beer cheese. If it wasn't on the other side of town for us we would be regulars. I look forward to coming back.

Great little spot. Had great tea and a breakfast burrito, delicious. Seriously if you haven't gone, go. Great atmosphere and super chill.

I moved here 2 years ago and this place is hands down my favorite place to eat! Not only are they super friendly, they have gluten free and vegan options that taste amazing! I have never been disappointed with what I've gotten here. Any time a friend wants to go to lunch I say The Mad Herbalist! Their kombucha is to DIE for!

Had lunch here today and was super impressed with the attentive staff. They were so friendly and made sure we had a great experience. The food was amazing! I got the Asian Lettuce wraps and the flavor was a 10. The jackfruit blended so well with all the other ingredients. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique, fun place to dine with friends.

Such a charming, friendly place to visit. The Mad Herbalist is inside an old log cabin. The decor is beautiful and inviting and the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. There were six teas on the menu and we ordered two flights so we could sample all of them. We loved the presentation and creative garnishes as well as the interesting and flavorful teas. We started our meal with pumpkin hummus then I had a cup of the vegetable soup and my daughter had the pesto, tomato grilled cheese. The food was excellent and we both agreed the soup and grilled cheese were the best we ever had! We can't wait to return!

Loved the ambiance. Outlets at each table. Affordable. Beet Hummus was great! First time trying it. Excellent tea. Just check it out. If you are into this kind of stuff. Booster chair was perfect for my almost 2 year old.

The Mad Herbalist is a true gem in Clarksville. I've been drinking tea for a long time and have been to more than my fair share of high teas and tea houses. The Mad Herbalist has managed to surprise me by creating novel and delicious tea blends that taste good iced, hot, and sparkling (!). They serve great food as well. Their food menu is small, but I have yet to eat anything there that I didn't like. If there was a tea you really liked, you can buy a bottle of tea concentrate to take home. (You get a discount if you bring the bottle back for a refill.)

In addition to great food and tea, the atmosphere is very warm and pleasant--the restaurant is situated in a cute, rustic building surrounded by trees and greenery. The staff are always friendly and attentive.

This is one of the few places in Clarksville I would recommend to visiting friends and newcomers without hesitation. I look forward to coming back soon.
