A hidden gem along a busy main street, the Mad Herbalist is a quiet oasis to enjoy some beautiful scenery, pleasant company, and delicious new tastes. The tea blends are unique and flavorful with three options to choose from; hot, iced, or sparkling. The tea flight was a fun way to try them out. The menu is limited but should offer something for anyone to enjoy. We tried the curry butternut hummus, chicken salad, and southwest egg rolls and they were all wonderful. The hummus was a favorite dressed up with pomegranate seeds. The service was friendly and attentive without overdoing it. The log cabin setting is different and soothing. I will definitely return when in the area again.

A must see!
Avid tea lover of casual consumer, you will fall in love with the atmosphere and tea offerings here!
The flight of 3 teas was only $6.50 and all three were delicious and unique flavor experiences! My favorite was the beecan pie, although it was hard to choose!
To order your tea, fill out the provided tag with the size, whether you want your tea hot, cold, or sparkling, and which kind(s) of tea you want! Very easy :)
The lunch options were all so good sounding it was hard to choose- so luckily they have a “tier” option where you can pick 3 items from the menu :) I tried the caprese sandwich, falafel, and chefs soup of the day which was a pumpkin and cilantro soup- very uniquely delicious!
The falafel was very herbal, I thought it was good but my friend did not like it when she tried mine lol.
The grilled acórese sandwich served with homemade chips was also a favorite!
I tried my friends Spinach and artichoke dip and her gingerbread cheesecake dip which were both rich and creamy in their own different ways! I would recommend either!
Everything on the menu was thoughtful paired for a scrumptious experience.
I would love to come back here! The atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food options make this a must-do in Clarksville!

Had a fun experience here! I’d heard about this years ago when it opened. I got the chicken pot pie which was delicious though not especially filling. Luckily my friend and I shared some beet dip and I ordered some chips to dip as well, and I was more than fine! I love the idea of infusing beer with tea flavors! I felt lucky to have gone here and won’t hesitate to try and visit again the next time I’m here if someone suggests The Mad Herbalist. A must for tea lovers!

Amazing place for great tea worth a visit if passing by. Tea lovers will feel at home in this cozy cabin with indoor and out door (heated) seating and even a second story. Really great cozy atmosphere. Just don't come here for the food. Although the food nicely compliments the tea, it's definitely not meant to fill you up. Loved it though!

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and we had an amazing experience. Kim was amazing, she was so patient in explaining the menu to us, and helping us make adjustments as needed. We will definitely be coming here again!

The most beautiful hidden gem. The grounds are stunning for events and you get to take it all in while dining here. Beautiful inside and out. The tea flights are so unique and I just adore this concept! I loved all the drink options and the food is so fresh too. Wonder staff. 10/10 recommend

Eating at The Mad Herbalist was such a wonderful experience! They are a restaurant and tea house that offers flights of teas. There are samples of the tea leaves at the table so you can smell them to aid in narrowing down your options. You can order them hot, iced, or sparkling. Our waitress was so helpful in explaining the tea options and guiding us through the process. Most teas were vegan. There are vegan food items on the menu as well (except no desserts). They are aware of what vegan means when ordering. The area is beautiful. It is right off a main road, but due to the restaurant being set back off the road and all of the trees and foliage, it really does feel like you are having tea in a cottage that you stumbled across. They also offer a little shop area with teas, mugs, candles, etc. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in town!

Such a cool spot. A friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here. We came up from Murfreesboro to try something different.
The service was great, food was great and the teamosas were awesome.
Will definitely come back.
