It was good for 'something different' for Sunday brunch. They would unique, with the way their menu changes often. They just need to keep website as updated.

Amazing tea service and atmosphere. Wonderful and cute local gifts and self-care items. Great service from the sweetest employees! There are so many wonderful teas to choose from and they rotate them each season! The tiers of food are rotated every 2 weeks. Fantastic!

I always enjoy the Mad Herbalist and enjoy meeting friends there to catch up and talk. I would like to address some of the comments about the small food portions with my own take....no this is not your normal dine out, larger than life portion of food. That said, it’s creative food and presented in a beautiful manner that becomes the focus for you and your guest the moment it hits the table. It’s a food and drink experience. I find that the portion is perfect for when your are actually talking to the person in front of you without a mouth full of food. You can eat, enjoy the flavor of the food, and then converse without feeling like you’re in an eating contest or talking with your mouth full. I also find we don’t waste food which is very important to me. Like I said, it’s a sensory experience from the tastes, warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and the great conversations I always have with friends while I’m there. It’s fantastic in my book. Elisa

Absolutely my favorite place in clarksville. Excellent atmosphere, great staff, and of course, delicious tea.

The atmosphere was nice and like a small cafe downstairs. Upstairs though I was not seated up there I did go up there to check it out and it looked very cozy and intimate. The food was on point and I really enjoyed the drinks. I had a beer-tea, the Beecanpie which used one of the Black Horse's brews so that was nice. And I bought a mint soap locally made that I just cant stop sniffing.

Quaint, quiet atmosphere. Tucked away from the main road so you have to really look for it. Friendly staff. Tea is unique and delicious. Food is very good, I like getting a tier- to be able to try different items. Their menu, however small, is very good and changes every 2 months. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

This place is tucked away in beautiful wooded area, quaint and comfy. They have an area for lounge/study while you sip your tea. Downstairs is table side service.
First we ordered a flight of tea. Which were amazing. We went to the famous smith tea in Portland Oregon and mad herbalist was ten times better! They brew with double the ingredients packing every sip with flavor.
Second we ordered a savory plate for one. This week it was harvest pie, with asparagus, and pimento cheese. The entire thing was to die for.
Third we ordered a sweet plate and this week it was pear on top of waffle with a butter candle to infuse the waffle and pumpkin filled rangoon. Delicious!
This place is a GEM! If you are considering going, just.do.it! A little pricey but worth it. The two plates and flight filled my husband and I up.

The staff was great and very knowledgeable about the teas, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely and very inviting. Great place to relax and have an iced tea or a tea radler. The egg rolls were delicious and very filling.
