If you're into teas, this is definitely the place for you. They have a wide selection of delectable teas and....also....yummy food!😋 The rustic decor contributes to it's pleasing aesthetic as well...
Additionally, they adhere to the standards necessary to combat Covid-19 by cleaning tables thoroughly after each customer; not to mention they keep their restrooms spic & span!
Finally, the staff is very courteous and willing to help. I could go on and on but I'll stop here.....

The food and tea here are amazing! The restaurant is located in a really cool looking old cabin. The food was really good but the tea is really the best thing here. We can't wait to come back and try more of the different teas.

All the teas were amazing, and the service was impeccable. The food was also outstanding and we really enjoyed the presentation as well. The establishment itself had a very warm and inviting feel to it with a rustic cabin design. Will definitely be making this a frequent brunch location from here on out.

I don't suggest going there, if you have mobility issues like I do. I had to park at the top of the hill because there were no handicap spaces available. I walked down the steep stairs to the restaurant. A friend and I were meeting our party of 6. The greeter didn't seem to know what we were talking about and told us to go upstairs. So our group climbed up to the next level. No sooner had we sat down when we were told this wasn't our table and we would have to go back downstairs. We went downstairs and were seated at separate tables. The place was noisy with a baby screaming its lungs out, and we had to shout at each other. I ordered the shepherd's pie and asked for iced tea--they don't serve iced tea, coffee or soda (just a head's up) so I had water. The food was quite good, and the place was very clean. When we left, I had to climb the stairs back up the hill to my parking space. This wasn't easy. I don't have an inclination to pay another visit because of the confusion and the parking situation.

I love the vibe of this spot! The unique rotating menu is delicious. Now rather than a three tier fixed menu it’s a la carte and will rotate every 2 months. I am a tea drinker and The tea is rich, flavorful and unique. The upstairs can be a great little spot to read, get some work done or meet for a casual but quiet work meeting. Love Kennedy the owner and all of her staff. Sydnee the manager is so friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend the Mad Herbalist and can’t wait to go back and try more options next menu!

The Mad Herbalist is genuinely one of the most beautiful places in all of Tennessee. Inside & Out! The Mad Herbalist team is very warm and inviting (just like the environment there). You can have a wedding on Saturday and then Tea & Lunch on Monday! It’s absolutely majestic. Get lost in a secret garden for a date or grab a quiet book alone. Either way, you can’t go wrong here!

Very nice local place with lots of character and very unique. Single menu that changes every week or two. Interesting food (honestly sounds strange together) that ends up being delicious. Unique teas and some IPAs you probably won't find elsewhere. Fairly expensive, about $15 a person, and not a huge amount of meat, but the dishes are full of flavor and very unique. I recommend you at least give it a try.

Kennedy, the owner, was our server. She was incredibly helpful, polite, and subdued. We had flights of three teas and their special of the day. It was a very unique, thoughtful, and personalized experience. The positive vibes, creativity, and personal touches overcame any flaw the Mad Herbalist had. Let's begin with the highlights:
- Love the interior decor of the place (hippie, bohemian, and rustic). The grand stone fireplace blew me away. The bathrooms looked like something in a beautiful log cabin in a magazine.
- Picturesque location. Woodsy forest like area.
- Food and tea presentation were absolute perfection. You could tell there was a lot of depth, thought, and art involved in the decor and displays.
- Quiet yet friendly customer service
- Uniqueness. It was my first time that I went to a place serving flights of teas. You get 3 kinds of tea for $6.50. It is rare to see a tea lounge, and I have only been to only one teahouse in my life.
- I felt I could take my time engaging in a good conversation without feeling hurried to leave.
- The Morocco tagine and avocado dip were delicious.
- I loved two of the teas: The Sweet Cinders and Java Mama.
- They provided me oatmeal and almond milk for my tea. I liked they were generous in giving me all their options for my tea to sweeten it and make it creamy.
The negatives:
-Finding the place was difficult
- The location was beautiful, yet it felt precarious the way the building was on the edge, but it worked.
- Limited parking. I was told that we could park in the adjoining parking lot for apartments.
- No soap available in one of the bathrooms. I had to go to another to wash my hands.
- The carrots and pita bread for the dip were colorful yet they were so so. I don't eat dessert, so I did not eat my tart.
- I prefer cream or whole milk in my tea and stevia. They were unavailable.
- The Mischief Matcha was so so. I make better matcha green tea at my home.
Despite my criticisms, I am giving this place a perfect score, since it is a beautiful rarity and my favorite place in Clarksville.
Cheers!

Good food, very scenic/picturesque, priced moderately+, overall good experience. My wife said it was worth every penny and enjoyed the uniqueness. I just wanted to expose her to something different only can go to olive garden and the main restaurants so often after so long they lose the aww/yay affect. I recommend any one with a date they want to impress give it a try! I'm pretty unbiased and my wife can be appeased with just good scenery and atmosphere, If we say it's pretty good you can trust us. Try the frosted flora tea probably the second best tea I've ever had in my life
