Nonna Marie's Gelato & Coffee Bar

Besides the plus that they are open late, the selection is awesome. They have a sugar free option as well. They have gluten free cones. This place is really good. They have homemade quality dessert. Definitely worth stopping by. Also the nice lady who helped us was very friendly and kind.

I’m so excited to have found this place. The owner is super informed and helpful. If you have gluten allergies, they are very well informed. Their cones are incredible. It’s awesome that they put the white paper around it and made it much easier to keep my hands clean while inhaling it. The lavender cone is my favorite. She was super knowledgeable when I requested a flavor that wasn’t too sweet. Now I just have to figure out how to not stop here everyday after work… or maybe I should :)

After a long day with the teenagers and in-laws, all I want is a stiff drink. Unfortunately, America has not caught up to drinking age laws of Europe, so I had to look elsewhere for something cool and refreshing. Nonna's Gelato hit the spot perfectly, and was a great way to end the day after the beach. It was so good, we went back 3 times in our 5 day stay! I have found that the cherry flavor often tastes of high fructose corn syrup, but Nonna's tasted fresh with the right amount of tart and sweet. Creamy and delicious, I'd certainly go there again (even solo!)

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! MAYBE THE BEST ON THE ISLAND! THE GELATO IS HAND MADE. MANY DIFFERENT FLAVORS AND YOU CAN GET SPECIALITY COFFEE'S. BEST OF ALL, THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 10PM. AWESOME FAMILY RAN BUSINESS AND THEY ARE THE MOST KIND & POLITE FAMILY! AS YOU CAN TELL WE LOVED IT! IF THEY HAD A HIGHER RATING THIS PLACE WOULD BE RANKED AT THE TOP!

Great little shop! Came in for coffee and walked out with Gelato! I highly recommend the Pear with Fig, Mystical Unicorn is interesting, you just can't put your finger on the flavor. Tiramisu is awesome too! And you have to meet Chai, the pooch.

Nonna Marie’s is a must-stop if you are in the area! The selection of gelato are made of all natural ingredients and full of flavors that cover your entire palette. The staff are so pleasant and they take their time with each and every customer to make sure they get the best out of what they have to offer. Espresso and other caffeinated beverages are available to contribute to their vast menu selection, and Italian pastries and sweets are also offered! And if you are up for it, they even offer alcoholic gelatos that rotate throughout the week such as Kahlúa coffee or rum raisin. I enjoyed the flavored waffle cones that come in seven colorful options. Thank you for everything, Nonna Marie’s! We love you!

Gelato was good, but $22 for a single dip cone and bowl is crazy. Go to Publix and get some Blue Bell and all the fixings to last you days. Quite the rip.

This is a family owned business serving delicious homemade gelato. The store interior is lovely, clean, and neat. But what is most important is the customer service! The owner Nonna and her daughter served us efficiently and kindly, even though we were a big group of students that came in about 30 minutes to close. I greatly appreciated her patience and kindness. Really wonderful place that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting this area of Hilton Head!

My wife & I stopped in at night. The mother/daughter team running the shop could not have been friendlier. They let us sample some flavors and recommended some treats. We even met their dog. Got lots of goodies to go and the gelato was hands down, the best I've ever had! A+ experience!!

My wife and I just went in after dinner on our date night and we were blown away! We just got home from Italy on our honeymoon and this gelato was just as good and the design made us feel like we were still over there. The staff was excellent, the girl working the counter was friendly, smiled and was clearly hustling with a big line. The owner came out and spoke with us for a while and gave us great suggestions. We had the mint chip and the fig gelato. Honestly was blown away with everything. Can’t say anything better than we will definitely be back with friends!! Thanks so much guys!
