Not just the best Gelato on the island, but certainly one of the best in America. Can't recommend a few best flavors, since many of the 16 choices are newly created each week If Italy's best is your benchmark, then Nonna Marie's is worth a special trip.

Absolutely delicious dark chocolate sorbetto and and coffee cake gelato all topped with homemade not too sweet whipped cream. The owner and her daughters could not be more lovely. A wonderful treat. I will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful experience at Nonna Marie’s! I had the “Magical Unicorn”, which is a daily mystery flavor, in a lavender cone, which tasted just like lavender. Owner was very friendly. We intend to return to try more flavors before we leave the island.

This family run gelato store has become a "must" for every HHI visit. All gelato is made fresh on location. My challenge is deciding which gelato to put in which flavor of homemade waffle cone. (Macha, orangcicle, red velvet, lavender). I tend toward rum raisin or fruit flavors while my husband always goes for chocolate. But I have chosen the flight of 5 flavors when they all looked too good to narrow it down further.

Highly recommend. Great family business. The gelato was the best we’ve had outside of Europe. Great quality and amazing taste. Espresso’s were perfect. Almost like we were having them in Milan.

Family owned and operated scratch made gelato and espresso! They were so friendly and wish them all the success! The gelato is the best I’ve had and the flavor selection was great! So much care is taken to make sure the quality and what they stand for comes first! And it shows! Very clean and well managed! Delicious alternative to iced cream. Once you try gelato, you won’t want iced cream anymore. Highly recommend! Their passion is their business, and that was apparent after talking with them and observing. Thank you for taking such care and pride in what you do!

My girlfriend and I recently stopped here since we were staying close by. The gelato was fantastic with many flavors to choose from. I also got an Americano coffee that was extremely fresh. The lady behind the counter (not sure if it was the owner) was very friendly and patient while we tasted a few flavors. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for great gelato and coffee!

Great gelato shop in Hilton Head. Tastes like what I had in Italy. Gluten free and dairy free homemade cones and dairy free options. Had the espresso float, and was outstanding. They use organic ingredients, can’t beat it.
