Duck Donuts

We first discovered Duck Donuts a couple of years ago during a family vacation in North Carolina. We spent sometime in the Outer Banks area and experienced our first Duck Donuts.

We were excited to discover Hilton Head Island has a Duck Donuts, so we planned a couple of trips to this store during our family vacation.

We love that the donuts are made to order and are served up hot and fresh and you customize the topping added to your donut order. While they only offer a standard cake donut as the base of the order, there are a multitude of icing glazes and toppings which can be added to your donut.

It's interesting to watch your donut be fried, glazed, and topped right before your eyes (if you chose to watch). There is nothing like eating your customized donut right out of the fryer, hot and fresh! Of course, the store also boxes up your donuts for carry-out if you wish to grab them an go.

I ordered a cake donut with lemon frosting glaze, Oreo cookie crumbles, and a raspberry drizzle. Supper delicious and I almost guarantee you will want to lick the excess frosting from the box which they are packaged into.

My daughter and I biked here from our condo for a mother-daughter outing. The staff was amazing, the donuts were absolutely out of this world! The best part? For as sweet as they look, that aren’t TOO sweet. They are best when fresh, but we took back a few for family members and they really enjoyed them later as well.

If you're in the area and have a sweet tooth, please pick a day to stop in here and try their donuts! I'm quite picky when it comes to cake donuts but these are the best I've ever had. I'm from Michigan where we have plenty of cider mills who also serve donuts. I feel very confident in my opinion of this donut shop. They are made fresh every day and you can watch them come off the belt, into the shaker and then watch the employees glaze and top each one. Simply delicious! 😋

My daughter was so bummed her birthday was on a school day and wanted Duck Donuts for her birthday breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful getting our order together and wasted no time! Such a great birthday treat!! This location has MUCH BETTER service now that they're under new local management!!! Thank you Scott and staff for your great service!

Staff is welcoming and engaging. Devron was running around doing more in a boot than the other younger workers. Props to him! Very hard to find people willing to actually work and you have a great employee in Devron. To the donuts.. hot and ready, fresh and yummy.

Duck Donuts did not disappoint. Scott was amazing and made our children feel right home. Heck..us too. He made it a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. Blueberry Pancake was amazing.

Delicious! We stopped on our way home from Hilton Head Island. It didn't disappoint. The staff was amazing. They gave us fresh hot donuts as we waited. Donuts were delicious and made to order. We will be back.

Fresh delicious donuts made right in front of you - they’re amazing! The staff is always very friendly. And surprisingly, they made me the best strawberry milkshake I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend, anytime someone visits, I bring them here!

Scott was welcoming and kind, explained everything and made recommendations. The kids designed their own or picked one of the amazing options. Outstanding fresh donuts and not too sweet even with the amazing toppings! Highly recommend
