Duck Donuts

Edited 7/25/21: Heard there is new management so decided to try it out this morning. Amazingly delicious donuts, very friendly staff, and while we waited in a line it wasn’t unreasonably long given the fresh warm donuts we were rewarded with in the end. The donut cook even gave my kids a few “rejects” while we waited in line which was an awesome way to pass the time. I’m so glad they got their groove back and am excited we can add this back to our “must do” list whenever we visit.

Donuts are delicious when we have ordered previously but this place needs to get their act together with ordering in 2021. The app didn’t allow an order to be submitted and the website didn’t work well either. They need a bigger staff especially going into the busy season. There are better places on the island for coffee and donuts! Hope to change this to a better review in the future.

Quick service, staff was incredibly friendly. Donuts are served warm and are awesome. We got a 1/2 dozen of donuts for our family of five and they were finished in less than five minutes. Our 11 yo asked to come back multiple times while we were still in the restaurant

This place was awesome. Fresh donuts every time. Unique experience where you can choose how you want to make your own donuts. Very good

What a great place! Scott, the manager, is awesome! We were so impressed, and the donuts beyond yummy!! A must “do” in Hilton Head, you won’t be disappointed!! (Props to Scott’s mom too, the cashier- she’s so cute!!)

Order online before you go I cannot stress enough do not order at the counter order online. There was no line when I went in and it still took over 30 minutes to get back on us because all of the online orders were coming in. If you order online it will save you the trouble. Donuts are delicious but they make them as you order them so it takes a while.

From my kids mouth “great donuts highest prize, and icing”. The owner and his mother were extremely helpful and caring. We had a child with an allergy and they were over the top supporting accommodating to our needs. this is a must stop every time we go to Hilton head.

The maple bacon is awesome! The team showed up a bit late. I suggest not getting there when they open. Also, it’s probably better to order online

For those that don't know, you must order online in advance. You cannot come to the shop, order online and pickup immediately. There's a minimum hour wait. We placed an order, found out it would be an hour, left and came back to pickup. Kind of wish we'd been able to cancel the order but wasn't intuitive enough on the website to do so. The donuts themselves are cake donuts. Toppings are fine but I prefer yeast donuts, as they're lighter. First time at a Duck Donuts and have heard so many good things but not for me!

Fun place to go. Place your order, watch them make your donuts and enjoy hot donuts. Huge variety and very good.

We stopped by on a whim and I'm so glad we did! The GM Scott went out of his way to accommodate allergies which allowed our kiddos to eat something that is normally off limits. Totally made their day and will likely be the thing they talk about when reminiscing about vacation. The donuts are amazing and the customer service is even better!
