Piecewise Coffee Co.

I tried Piecewise Coffe Co. a few weeks ago and loved it! The drink menu is very simple but delicious. I had an iced caramel macchiato and a turkey and cheddar sandwich--both were amazing. We stayed a few hours working on things and it was definitely pretty busy around lunchtime. Overall, I loved the aesthetic and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Had a very simple menu, but the items presented were of reasonable price and high quality. The shop also had a very attractive modern minimal aesthetic (think succulents) not found too often in Columbia. A cute, fun shop to visit!

I've been coming to this coffee shop since it opened, and I've never had a bad experience. I used to live within walking distance, but even living 15 minutes away, I still come at least 2 or 3 times a week. If there has ever been a mistake (which is rare), it's always made up in the most apologetic way, and all of the baristas make the experience so much better. The lojo (cold brew) or the honeysuckle latte are my go-to's. You cannot go wrong at this place. I've even gotten multiple friends addicted. Best coffee and atmosphere in Columbia!

Absolutely wonderful new coffee shop that breathes new life into old downtown Cayce.

In the amount of time I've been coming here, it's very clear that this place is run by people who legitimately love coffee. A very minimal, yet comfortable space, a simple menu that is fairly-priced, and absolute perfection in all things coffee.

It's my personal favorite, but the espresso would rate this place five stars on it's own. Dark, hot, and wonderful in every way I've tried it. Decaf espresso was available too, and my partner that loves coffee but is trying to limit caffeine was very grateful.

The folks running the show behind the counter are incredibly friendly and quick. I can park, walk in, and grab a cappuccino on my way to work in about five minutes. They have plenty of seating too, if you're in the mood to enjoy your coffee slowly. (As a note, there a few drinks available aren't currently on the menu behind the counter. If you're looking for a style of drink that isn't shown, just ask!)

My reccomendation? Come early if you want a fresh pastry, order a cortado or a cappuccino to suit your mood, grab a bar seat looking out the massive front window, and enjoy a few moments of blissfully satisfying cup of coffee.

I started to stop by on my way to work during the pandemic to support locally... I will never go to starbucks if getting coffee at Piecewise is an option.

THE best espresso is served at Piecewise. This is what an espresso drink should taste like. The baristas are kind, but I think most importantly, genuine.

The environment is peaceful. That says a lot, since I can’t sit in their cafè at this time.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. Just moving to South Carolina, I was looking for a place to mooch off their WiFi to work and such. It's small yet intimate. One of the barista, I'm 99% sure her name is Amber, made me feel so welcome to the area and the state. When she's there, she is always greeting me and knowing my name makes me feel like I'm not just another customers. It's a spot where you might drive by because you can't really see it besides a sign out front, but trust me. The space is modern and clean. The drinks are amazing. There's always something new to try and someone to always answer your questions if you're new to the coffee world or want to try something new. It's becoming my favorite study spots.

Stan is very friendly and helpful explaining the various coffee options! He eemed knowledgeable and serious about his business. The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was quite an interesting mix of modern and antique. I will definitely be back for more!!

New favorite coffee shop in town! The coffee is AMAZING! The owners and employees are so kind and sweet. The coffee shop itself is super cute and relaxing. You have to try the iced vanilla oat milk latte

This coffee shop is genuinely the best in cola! Everyone seems to recommend drip but the coffee beans they use here and the aesthetic their cafe has is so welcoming and artsy!
