It was my first time there today.
Piecewise seems to be a fantastic coffee shop. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk, and it was the best one of those I've had. The service was great, but full disclosure I went in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. The location is cool and so was the atmosphere. You've initially got the shop itself with a number of tables and bar seating at the front window, then you have outdoor seating as well, and then you've got a bigger room you can go into that has a bunch more tables where a bigger party can go to and still all sit together. Love the options there.
It's a great place and I look forward to going back.

Went out of my way to try this place out and don't regret it. Both the people working were friendly and helpful. It was great to get good service instead of what passes for service these days.

They had no food at the time I was there (right after the holiday closure) but apparently normally carry a good selection of things, including gluten-free sugar cookies! Guess I'll have to come back for that. However, their selection of creative coffee drinks was good and interesting, and the products they used were good quality, not those HFCS-with-added-weird-chemicals flavorings. There wasn't much for atmosphere at the time, but there is a little indoor and outdoor seating and I was there at an off time. I can see this place becoming a treasure with a little time.

Okay, so if you're a coffee shop your coffee better be good and this place has damn good coffee. I had an Americano and the espresso roast was fantastic. Notes of nut and chocolate with a creamy after finish. By far one of the best cups I've had in a while. And the staff is super friendly! A little disappointed with the orange and cranberry scone - it was flaky and the consistency of a biscuit versus a dense scone. Otherwise, we will be sure to stop by next time we drive through Columbia. (And if you ever come here, be sure to say hello to the fiddle fig plant beside the door. His name is Harvey Jr.) 😉

This is a nice coffee shop. Nice atmosphere. A nice patio. Most important, excellent coffee. No sugar necessary. I ate a cranberry scone that was tasty. Staff was attentive not to mention they are also beautiful ladies. This is located in the Art district in Cayce, SC.

My favorite coffee shop in all of Columbia! The workers are incredibly kind and informed, and the vibe of the cafe is laid back, rustic, and cozy. They have great outdoor seating, and a second cafe space if you go out the back door to the right. One of my favorite places in Columbia hands down! :)

I got so used to lattes while I was in Italy recently I had to have one now that I'm home. There's was excellent! Great service and I love their outside seating. Plenty of parking just across the street because they only have a few spots next to the building.

Small little coffee shop in cayce with a good coffee menu. They have all the regular espresso drinks. Love the little perks like mini packets of tictacs to cut the coffee breath before you leave. The base coffee is solid with good flavor. The place is clean and quiet. Great place to read or to study. I plan on visiting often.

I had a rough morning. ROUGH. I needed caffeine. Piecewise is close to my work so I stopped in. As I ordered my coffee I noticed all the baked goods and treats, but I also noticed some yogurt and oats. I asked the barista what they were and what he would recommend. He suggested the overnight oats with banana. As I hadn't had time for breakfast or time to pack lunch, I went with it. OMG, it was soooooo good. I'm not a huge oatmeal or banana fan, but it was delicious. I was tempted to lick my cup. On a side note when I joked about my horrible morning, the guy who waited on me actually asked if there was anything he could do to make it better. That alone did. I definitely appreciate the care, the coffee, and the oats.

One of the best coffee spots in Columbia. Staff is always kind and coffee is very tasty. Prices are reasonable and love their seating options.

Loved the Christian music playing and the barista was really nice. The Dirty Chai I ordered was arguably the best I've ever had. You see, I like my chai with a kick, and this one definitely bucked!

Would definitely return. I want to get a feel of the post-covid vibes.
