Very beautiful room as long as you can deal with the dead animal heads on the walls. Very high ceiling intensifies every sound. Service is good but had to ask for water glasses to be refilled at a time when there were only 3 tables, a total of less than 10 people in the restaurant.
Onion soup could have been really good but unfortunately was very salty. Pasta with seafood good, chicken cutlet was fine, scallops were very good.
Bring your own wine as they don't serve alcohol.

Cute little diner in the middle of a tourist town. Certainly had the vibe of "where the locals eat". Friendly people, good food, typical small town diner done right.

Still a good place, but not what it once was... Took entire family (wife, 3 kids and two grandchildren) for a 50th wedding celebration meal in December, 2019. While service was a little confused and somewhat slow, the food was generally quite good and several people (including my wife) said they'd like to return. The building has always been known for its Craftsman architecture and wonderful ambiance.

Finally got around to trying this place. We loved the food, it was great.
However, we felt that the BYOB was a little confusing, but it works. The place was filled with smoke from lamb grease, probably because the kitchen door was wide open when we walked in. We were given a completely different menu than what was posted online. None of the prices were listed on the menu and the menu itself was presented as a "pre-fix" but when we asked about that twice, we were not given a straight answer.
We took deserts to go because we were too full, we found them tossed loosely into a Styrofoam container and the dessert portions were tiny but they were tasty.
Overall the prices were very high for the area.
With all their organic, vegan, gluten free, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients it should be expected that their takeout containers would not be Styrofoam, and that they would pay a little more attention to their overall customer experience, very surprised.

Visited last night for the first time and will be going back. The service was great and the food was even better. Intimate setting with CDC protocols followed made for a nice night out during these uncertain times. BYOB means more to spend on the delicious food!

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. We have been to this restaurant twice a few years ago and it was delightful but last night was anything but that. It was a slow Friday night with only 4 tables that had customers at them. It took around 10 minutes for us to even get a bottle opener from the hostess/waitress. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered the steak medium but when I cut it open it was most definitely rare. The potatoes and vegetables were bland with no taste. My wife did not enjoy her crab cakes either but she said the fried goat cheese was okay if you want to spend 12 dollars on it. The waitress was not present most of the night and after merely picking at our food we decided to go ask for the check and left. It was very disappointing. Not to mention the numerous fruit flies buzzing all around us all night. I wish the restaurant was as good as it was years ago but that that’s a stretch. Avoid this place, go anywhere else! We wasted 75 dollars on a poor dinner for our 1 year wedding anniversary but we didn’t let it ruin our weekend.

Fantastic food, terrific atmosphere, and waitstaff who are professional yet friendly as well. I love that since it's a BYOB, their corking fee is collected as an optional donation to a local charity!

We had an awful experience last night. Picked the place because of high rating. We reserved through open table. When we got there the hostess seemed confused that we had a reservation. She found a table for us but not sure if she communicated to a waitress as it took 20 minutes and me finally asking if they forgot about us to even get water. Food took Over an hour once order was placed. Food was mediocre at best and food was expensive for what you got ex dessert was $13,50 each!!
