My family and I had an amazing experience at the Fairview Cafe. The ambiance was so relaxing and it felt like we were truly in the country from the cozy cabin element the restaurant has to it. There is a large 4 sided beautiful fireplace in the dining room as well! The service was exceptional from the beginning to end. The food was delicious! The arugula salad was my favorite appetizer. You can’t go wrong ordering any pasta as your entree — they were all delicious, especially the Linguini Mediterranean. To top it off, my favorite dessert was the carrot cake. It was the best I’ve ever had! We will definitely visit again. Thank you to Donny for his hospitality.

This restaurant was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! There was nothing bad. The bread was hot, the butter is mixed with cinnamon and honey, the asparagus was nice and crisp. The mashed potatoes was some of the best I've had. I had the duck with orange ginger glaze; and my husband got the special which was a 7 pepper coffee rub steak. (Which was HUGE!) Both melted in our mouths. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. All at a VERY reasonable price. We will DEFINITELY come back the next we come to the area.

Amazing Mother's Day ❤️ dinner with family at a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. There was a special menu for Mother's Day with a wide variety of choices. As we were seven people, we had one of each of the entrée choices. Our choices were: Rack of Lamb, Filet Migion, Seared Sea Bass, or Roast Duck, Each entrée was more amazing than the others. It is the perfect place to enjoy a family dining experience.

Delicious food, wonderful service and staff! Would recommend making a reservation, since tables fill up quick.

Menu has had many changes since pictures were put on website. Nothing really srikes me. Last menu looks very appetizing this one may be ok.
After we've had dinner , bread very good!! Chicken very tasty but tough. Sea food very good. All portions well sized. Lovely presentations. Salad missing goat cheese and apple, still tasty.

We have been going to this place for years. Each time although the last visit has been better than the previous one. Service was great, food was excellent. Two reasons why we return time and time again.

This was our 3rd visit and our last. Such a cute place and a great outdoor area. BYO is a plus for sure. Food was always decent, not great, but decent. Was very cold inside as it was last time we visited but chalked it up to the huge vaulted ceiling which prob cost a ton to heat properly. We were the only ones in the place which is not a good sign (another couple did show up later, but that was it). The server let us know there were a lot of items on the menu that were not available, another red flag. Bread was actually very good & fresh & mushroom cap app was nice & hot which warmed us up lol. We ordered the house salad which was supposed to have olives, sunflower seeds & pine nuts. It had none of that, just a few yellow tomatoes & 1 strawberry sliced & a raspberry dressing which was way too sweet. Salad was awful & not anything of what was described. So we decided to split the entrée which was a seafood dish in marinara sauce over pasta. Was supposed to be clams, shrimp & crabmeat. Server said they had no clams so they would add extra shrimp & crabmeat. We got the dish and there was crabmeat & old shrimp & what appeared to be the end piece of a larger fish with the black skin still on it. I asked what fish that was and server said it was salmon. It was mostly that black slimy skin and was old. Were they trying to do us a favor by adding that piece of salmon? No idea but this made the dish awful. Did the cook think we were blind and not see this chunk of old fish that was not even supposed to be in the dish? At least we didn't get sick from it but will never return to this place. Maybe they are going out of business and that's why half the menu was unavailable and they were throwing stuff in just to get rid of it? Gee thanks Fairview Cafe for serving us one of the worst meals we have had in a restaurant ever. And we go out all the time to eat.

Let me begin by saying, if I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. We have lived in this area for only one year now. This restaurant is by far, our favorite within an hour radius. The food is absolutely AMAZING every single time, better then every New York City high class restaurant, I’d especially recommend the cowboy ribeye and the short rib. The wait staff are the most friendly people. They not only remember us, and our orders, they always go out of the way to talk to us and make us feel very welcome. One of my favorite parts is that it’s a BYO. Every single weekend I have groups of 8-10 family members who come to visit- and this is our number one restaurant. Our family and friends come from all over the tri state area and leave like they just left the best restaurant in Colorado. The four sided fire place, and walls filled with beautiful animals give us such a Romantic and calming feeling. This restaurant is the way to make any birthday celebration feel magical. The word cafe in the name of the restaurant may throw you off because it’s nothing like a cafe. Btw I didn’t mention the deserts, which are absolutely incredible, and every piece can feed a group of 8. The outside of the restaurant looks like a beautiful huge log cabin in Colorado with a stunning wrap around porch outlined in romantic lights. The owner is magnificent, always so accommodating with the times we need, changing times for dinner if we are running late and allowing us to eat in the room or our choice. You will not be disappointed if you dine here!!

Definitely one of our new favorite places. Fabulous food and service-our food was even comped because it was taking so long to process our payment which was not at all expected and so very much appreciated. That certainly says something about how the owners treat their customers! Top notch customer service and quality-we will absolutely be coming back! Cornish hen special and ribeye just melted in our mouths!

After a ridiculously long wait at another restaurant my boyfriends dad called Fairview Cafe to see if we could get a late reservation. They got us in in a timely manner and sat us almost immediately after arriving. It had been quite a run around with the other restaurant but once we got to Fairview the night just kept getting better. From the second we turned into the parking lot the atmosphere went from “being on the water” to “being in the woods”, which was a beautiful change. The restaurant was gorgeous. The wooden beams and fireplace were so breathtaking, if your into that kind of thing. Our server Sarah was attentive, personable and had a great personality. During our short wait between ordering and the food arriving the owner came out and talked to us for a bit about his, his wife and the restaurants story. Then came the food! Everything we had was AMAZING but it was really all the things combined that made the experience a 5 star kind of night!
