The sales associate Jennifer F treated me in a condescending manner. I was purchasing a book and it had 20% off. She in no uncertain. Terms formed me it was not on sale. I let her know that all those books were 20% off. Her response - well I guess I have to give it to you. She finished the transaction and I asked for the receipt. She put it in the bag and I said I need the receipt with me. She said it is in the bag, thrust the bag in my face and said again said it's in the bag. She said you were in a hurry and I informed her I was not in fact I was going to get a hoy chocolate. She said great my favorite, go get it. Had I not already paid for the book I would have walked out. I was very polite but steaming on the in side. No one should have to take this kind of behavior. Very condescending and disrespectful.

Love the store can always find what I want. Very comfortable and quite. They just need to get rid of Starbucks as there headline coffee. They don't support our military.

This review is for the Starbucks cafe only. I generally like coming here to do work and drink some coffee, however, the barista with longer brown hair and beard is extremely rude and aggressive. He incorrectly made my drink, started banging on the espresso machine, slamming down cups, etc. This cafe is very poorly managed.

Coming to complain about the Starbucks cafe in the Barnes & Noble. The man working (longer brown hair, beard) was extremely rude to me. My husband and I not only had to wait an extremely long time without explanation, but after my husband took his order, I gave mine and was cut to be told I needed to wait. Made me never want to return to this Starbucks location.

Two coffees out of three today were made wrong. And when I ask for two more pumps of a syrup I got a dirty look. Almost think she was going to charge me for the two pumps. Oh well. Giving attitude when a customer asked you something and talking about other employees behind their back in front of customers -NOT COOl

They have a kids' play area which we recently used on a rainy day. There's a wide selection and it's very clean. It has a cafe inside if that's your thing.
There are some cool wide window sills in corners where you can curl up and read.

Always a good place to visit and look through books to find a new one to take home! As a resder who enjoys the traditional physical book in my hand, I appreciate real book stores. Seating areas to page through your selections, and a welcoming staff that asks if they can help also makes it a wonderful visit every time.

Pricey compared to buying online, but it's nice if you can find some sale items. It's a shame to see their boardgame section faltering a bit. Not as many new releases or as much variety as previous years, and the games are stuffed together on the shelves, making it hard to find titles that may have been pushed to the back. The manga section seems healthily stocked, but the tabletop RPG section has deteriorated in variety. Good solid children's section in the back with excellent options for different age ranges and interests.

"Textbooks aren't really our thing."
I spoke to an employee and asked about ordering a book online. Despite the button on the BARNES AND NOBLE website that says, "Order online, pick up in store," he said that they don't do that. When I asked if HE could order the book for me, you already know what his response is. After a lengthy pause, he informed me that he could look it up for me if I wanted. Nah - I'll take my business elsewhere - sorry to bother you.

Don't tell me the tea is fresh when it isn't. Fresh Black tea is not cloudy!!!!
Book sale was great and cashier attempted to be helpful....question about membership was above her pay grade.
