Great place for coffee flavored water.. service was slow and rude. Not my vibe for the price

In downtown Kennett Square, a very pleasant and clean cafe. We enjoyed it though we only had time for a quick coffee. I had a pour over which was great and my wife had an Americano. I am sure that we will be back again, but make sure it's before 5pm. The whole town seems to close then.

LOVE that they have vegan baked goods, I'm vegan and not many places have vegan options so I will b back just for that alone. Environment was really cozy and loved the design. The menu on the wall was a little hard to follow and we found it a little confusing and overwhelming. We weren't sure what some of the coffees were so maybe having a way to describe the different coffees as I've seen this at some other spots and makes it easier to make a decision. We thought the prices were a little high for the coffees but maybe that's because they're target customers are older.

Love this place. Good coffee, the house blend is just about the right balance of bold without the burnt you get at other places. It's pleasant but not pretentious, cool without feeling overly trendy. Good coffee, good sandwiches. Just wish they had the Kale and White Bean soup more often. I've been back about 10 times and am on my way there now.

Fine coffee shop. Got an iced coffee which was weak. Significant other had a hot chocolate that was not very good.

Easily my favorite coffee shop in the area. I live in West Chester and frequently drive 25 minutes just to go here. Aesthetics are big for me, and this place has a great atmosphere. Coffee is good and prices for it are pretty standard. If you want to get some work done in a comfortable spot with lots of natural lighting, this is your place.

I go here all the time! I love the coffee and the staff are fantastic! They remember my order since I'm a regular, they consistently make good coffee, and they are always so happy to see me. It's such a comforting atmosphere, a great place to study and work, and you see the same people regularly, making it feel like a community meeting place. I love Philter.

Mediocre coffee shop. Location is great, restaurant itself needs a cleaning. Crumbs and coffee stains everywhere. Been there several times, also had my drink order messed up several times. Some staff members seem to have a hard time listening. Also, there will be no one there and yet still you will wait 15 minutes for your drink. Coffee and food is good

Great atmosphere, pleasant music, nice street views and awesome mugs. The wifi bandwidth is also top notch

I had an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with coffee. First off the sandwich was fabulous on sourdough bread. Second, the coffee was stellar - I like my coffee black, but add sugar and cream when it's not good coffee. I didn't need to add cream and sugar. Great place I've been to a couple of times and I highly recommend.
