This is a great addition to downtown. Very nice, industrial like design. The coffee is really good, and the staff are really friendly! With the Penn State Downtown Campus nearby this is a great place to study and get a quick snack while you're on break

AWSOME variety of quality and excellent coffee. The espresso is like no other you can get locally. Havent had anything that good since Italy. Delicious scones and other goodies too. Spacious with multiple areas to hang and enjoy...and it is great to see a pioneer of the revitalization of downtown Altoona. Nice job guys! Will definitely be back.

Very cute coffee shop with a limited selection of food items, but there is a good variety of tea and coffee drinks. I don't drink coffee so tried an iced tea that was pretty good. You can have lunch here if you like grilled cheese and soup (soup isn't served on weekends, though), and grab a pastry with your drink. It's a bit expensive, but no more so than a Starbucks, which is also a specialty coffee shop, just a chain. This isn't a chain. They have pottery to paint and it appears classes, but we're visiting family so didn't have time to check them out. Owners sell art in the shop and it's pretty good. Our little one played with the games they have out, including connect 4 and yahtzee. Nice place.

Amazing and affordable restaurant. They're very helpful and professional what they say and do. I would totally eat here any time.

Its a really nice place the staff are very Welcoming too. We had their drinks, they were good. We still have to take our kids back to paint some clay pieces that you can choose yourself. It looks pretty neat& fun!

My daughter and I were out shopping in Altoona and stopped by here. I had a mocha which they didn't mind making semi cool and extra sweet so I could chug it (it was delicious!). My daughter has allergies and enjoyed an organic lemonade (which is why this spot was recommended to us). We painted little magnets and had a great time together. We will definitely be going back to do some bigger projects. Very friendly people, a great atmosphere, and excellent coffee. Perfect for some quality time with a kiddo, grabbing a snack with a friend, or even a date. I'm so glad to see some nice places appearing in Altoona!

No doubt a bit hipster but I like this place a lot. They do coffee and tea very well. Prices are slightly steep for what it is, but you're still going to save money here compared to Starbucks -- plus you're supporting local business. Real people like me and you.

You can forget about the cool coffee shop atmosphere, forget about painting ceramics, forget about the awesome handmade gifts and artwork, forget about the coffee, what you should never forget about The Clay Cup are the pastries. Particularly the unicorn scones. Joking aside, this is a great place doing some great stuff, and if you remotely like pastries you really must stop in and try theirs.

Love meeting people there and enjoy the environment.

Best coffee shop around! Something Altoona totally needed. The coffee is INCREDIBLE, and the baristas are wonderful! They make you feel like you're home. :) The Clay Cup is equipped with a tech bar for all your homework/studying/work related needs. I love this place!
