Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum Giftshop and Coastal Visitors Center

The clam chowder was great. Didn't get to visit or tour the lighthouse which looked very protected and fenced off.

This is a nice place to stop. See the museum, tour the lighthouse, and check out the delicious food in the gift shop.

The lighthouse is cool. Their is RV parking available so you can eat and enjoy the views. There is whale watching available depending on the season and weather. Tours are available as well.

Visited recently as we were passing by and were glad we stopped. Weren't able to go inside the lighthouse but it had a nice viewing area and a museum that we didn't have time to check out.

The couple running the place were so nice to us. They gave us a really awesome tour of the buildings and the lighthouse. This is a spectacular light house with red fresnel lenses. We also happened to be there at a time they could cook a chicken pot pie for my wife and I. The pie was amazing! Not sure if this is regularly available, but worth asking about!

I have been up and down the coast for years didnt know about it..will return for the tour in the future!

Excellent tour, the kids found it really interesting, too. Our guide was super knowledgeable. The museum is very nice, and the gift shop has a great selection.

Took the tour for $8 ...was able to get inside the glass light area very cool!

The lighthouse tour is interesting and just long enough. Get tickets from the gift shop first. It's one of the few lighthouses where you can poke your head in up by the light and glass.

While staying here at Coho resort I had a great time picking blackberries down by the docks. Looking forward to a cobbler with this bucket full and maybe a daquarie or two.
