Incredibly cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome and at home, and invites conversation and connection. Great staff, delicious drinks, easy to park and near a ton of other great shops and restos. I wish I lived in Portland, this place would be in regular rotation!

Dragonfly is my favorite coffee shop downtown. The ambiance is friendly, the view excellent for people watching, the mocha was excellent and chocolate cookie delicious. If you’re a gluten-free , vegan sort they offer and many many treats to choose from. Besides coffee they have teas and smoothies. This place is lively but not in the obnoxious overbearing way “coffee bars” can be.

Such a delightful and charming little Scandinavian cafe! Came as a result of a recommendation and so glad we did!

1. Expect a line/wait - We waited about 20-25 minutes for 2 @ 9AM on a Saturday, and had about 8 parties ahead of us. Not bad as we expected the wait. They have self-serve coffee while you wait but note that it's NOT FREE OF CHARGE as they will charge you for it (we didn't realize until we got the bill).

2. Menu/Food - Completely unfamiliar with Scandinavian food but enjoyed their menu complete with nordic names. We ordered the Lost Eggs (super creamy and filling), Swedish Meatballs (creamy sauce was oddly tangy which confused my taste buds) and Danish pancakes (made fresh but unremarkable + easily forgettable, comes with tasty sauces). Although the food was not mind blowing, all tasted very good, filling portions, and were beautifully plated.

3. Atmosphere - Dragonfly is small and cozy which makes for a perfect brunch atmosphere, complete with the typical hustle + bustle of a small, open kitchen right by the bar. We were seated right in front of the kitchen and it was fun (and drool-inducing) watching the dishes made fresh right before our eyes.

First time in today, and received THE BEST customer service from any coffee house! The employees were really nice, and helpful! Had a bunch of different Delicious pastries and didn’t know which one to get, so I got one of each and they are REALLY REALLY delicious along with the Mocha.

The Dragonfly Cafe is a quaint corner coffee shop. During Covid-19 time you can’t eat inside, but the bathrooms remain open and clean. The safe are friendly. The outside seating is great, there are about 10 table options and some benches. I had hot Chai, it was spicy and not overly sweet.

Coffee is good
Lots of gluten free, vegan etc eating choices
Very comfortable decor. Like sitting in a family room.
The treats are amazing- if you’re lucky there will be a date bar available or an energy bar if your gluten free (not very sweet) or the lemon cake or the cranberry scone or…

Such a great spot! The cafe feels cozy as well as tidy, a great place to meet friends, work, and study. I appreciate the small menu, it doesn’t overwhelm you with options. Staff are always happy to help, and show great attitude. I recommend the dragonfly elixir! So refreshing and energizing!

I'm from out of town and was having a hard time finding a good cup of coffee in Portland, which surprised me. Probably the best cold brew that I ever tasted was from Dragonfly. Just heavenly 🤤 Whatever you're doing keep it up ❤️

Fun, quirky coffee house with delicious drinks.

Dragonfly Coffee House offers a variety of outstanding coffee and tea options as well as delicious snacks.

Their chai lattes are amazing - wonderfully spicy and warming.

Pastry options include several healthy and gluten free choices in conjunction with regular coffee shop offerings.

The shop is adorable with plenty of cozy seating. A few crossword puzzle and coloring books are available for use as you sip your coffee.

Great coffee with a very cool Portlandesque vibe. Delicious pastries. Only downside is VERY minimal seating areas. If you don't want to be squished up next to a stranger, may want to take your order to go.
