I love this place. It seems to be run by someone who has heart and isn't afraid to show it, which is rare and always welcome.
If that isn't enough, the cappuccino I had there the other day was delicious and the baked treats are fantastic. Specifically, the gf energy bars that I'm hopelessly addicted to, and the date bars, which are ridiculous, it never occurred to me you could make a date bar so amazing. Everything else looks just as divine.
Tea is available and they make a very good matcha latte. Outdoor seating around two sides of the building is comfortable and offers a look out onto the street for good people watching. They also sell kombucha, which I believe is locally brewed, and savory items that I haven't tried but everything seems to sell out pretty fast.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here! Great place to grab a quick coffee or catch up with a friend!

This coffee spot was such a charming find. Right now they only have walk up window service. The people were really nice, my hubby enjoyed his coffee drink, and they were super helpful with my complex drink order. It's in the very fun alphabet district. There would be lots to see and do here if everything weren't closed at the moment, but we'll be back. If only to find out where they get their bagels from. They're scrumptious!

I used to come here very often on my way to forest park but I have visited less since the pandemic. They have a good system for keeping the indoor seating safe by requiring masks until seated. However, when I came in recently I stood at the counter for about seven minutes while the person at the register chatted to another customer with his back turned the entire time. I found it very rude that he didn’t even acknowledge me until a line formed behind me. I think the girl working noticed because she came out from the kitchen area (and didn’t charge me for one of the items I bought).

The nicest people anywhere. Erin and the staff have been anchoring down this little corner of the Thurman neighborhood for years, and being such good neighbors. If it has a fault is that it's so popular now that it's hard to find a place to sit. Now that the weather is turning good again and the outdoor seating has returned in its expanded form, let's hope everything is back to normal soon.

I'm an avid hiker and I stop in almost weekly and get there energy bars and date bars. Both are ridiculously good and very filling. The coffee is amazing too. If you get your pastries or coffee anywhere else then your doing yourself injustices.

Possibly my favorite coffee shop ever and definitely my favorite in Portland. Not only is the service absolutely fantastic and friendly, but the coffee is excellent. Good art and decor, a friendly bunch of people, and a fun space with large windows that open up and outdoor seating. This place is also one of the few places in Portland with my favorite drink: The elusive cardamon and honey latte; I highly recommend it. They also have a large number of dairy alternatives including oat, hemp, almond, soy, and hazelnut.

Nice atmosphere, unique specialty coffees

My favorite coffee in town so far but it's a little spendy compared to one's around. There are really good smoothies and food options as well, including pastries, energy bars, and wraps. Dog-friendly and a lot of outdoor seating. I like doing computer work and reading here.
