Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite foods, so I'm a little picky about it, but the La Maison Salmon Benedict gets a solid 5 stars! The sauce was perfect and the homemade English muffins were spectacular. The coffee is great as well as the pastries. We will definitely be back.
The one thing I would suggest is to bring a sweater in the winter. It's in a cute old house with a lovely atmosphere, but the single-paned windows make it a little chilly.

What an excellent experience! Personable culinary perfection, never had i experienced such wonderful duck, and my cappuccino was perfectly made.
Apart from a few boisterous fellow consumers, i enjoyed the conversation in the dynamic environment offering an excellent place to sit and draw for a bit.
Being a small kitchen everything came exactly when i wanted it offering brief interludes between courses.
Certainly one of my favorites.

9 of us visited for a Sunday breakfast recently. La Maison far exceeded our expectations! Our table ordered plates of eggs Benedict, different omelettes, and the decadent French toast. Everything was great! Perfect poached, farm fresh eggs, fluffy omelettes, and rich French toast! I also consumed the BEST Bloody Mary ever!!
The service for our large group was exceptional. We had 3 little kids w/ us and before we ordered the chef came to our table to ask if any of us were planning to order the French toast? If so, she wanted to cook those first and all together for us if the kids were ordering those-YES! Lastly, the English muffins are homemade. I’ve never eaten a fresh, home baked English muffin. They were rustic, warm, and comforting -the best I’ve ever had. I only wish they sold them by the bag, to go! We don’t live in Newport, so I can’t visit as often as I’d like -but it’s now on our ‘must do in Newport’ each time we’re near!!

La Maison is a great place to visit for breakfast or brunch. Off-season in early February, they had tables available on Friday morning and Sunday morning. Their omelets, English muffins, croissants and Eclairs are delicious and service is great. I'd like to correct an earlier review that said black coffee was $5. As of this review is it $4 if that matters to you. IMHO, this place is more for adults than families with kids. Highly recommended!

I usually order the salmon benedict, which receives 5 stars each time I try it! The chef never fails to amaze with this dish. I came for lunch recently, and unfortunately the Caesar salad tasted extremely bitter, which lettuce can sometimes taste that way due to variation in growing. Cannot blame a vegetable for a specific taste, but the amount of pure oil sitting at the bottom of the salad plate accounted for the other issue. Would not recommend that salad, the oil made up the entire taste. I would have granted five stars if it weren’t for the salad mishap.

Dinner was exceptional. The chicken was moist and tender with a dynamic sauce. Every bite had flavor layers! Bailey truly made our night the most fun. Happy birthday Bailey, thank you for taking such good care of us ❤️

Beautiful breakfast. This is an example of caramelized banana French toast and the Loire omelette with two strips of succulent bacon! Great service, excellent atmosphere although a bit tight.

Pastries were the best I'd ever had. We had an awesome breakfast. Get there early or the pastries are gone.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The eggs benedict were great, but caramelized banana French toast was the absolute best. Every visit to Newport from here on out I'll be visiting.

Phenomenal. Everything can be modified for vegetarian. Half portions available. I had eggs sordou with fresh tomatoes instead of bacon and it was beyond. The hollandaise is on point, not soupy, not too thick, perfect flavor. Artichokes in brekkie was meant to be and I'm so pleased with this experience. The pastries are fresh, light, and not too sweet. Great coffee. The quaint, lovely atmosphere adds to the moment, and the service was polite and efficient. I'll visit again at every opportunity. Not good for large groups, there is limited seating and they'll be busy.
