We love French food and have tried this place three times wanting to like it. Sadly we have been disappointed all three times. Pastries are not great, but expensive. Meal portions are small, and the taste is not great. They consistently are out of things (all three times I think).

Today they also forgot about one part of the meal (till I asked). I ordered a $15 meal, my wife a $5 pastry (wasn't hungry). They asked if we wanted a second plate, I said "sure". Then they charged us $2 for it. Come on guys....

The food is always superb the fresh bread delicious. The portions are very generous the artichoke eggs Benedict is my favorite. The place gets busy on the weekend and mornings but it's definitely worth the wait.

Fabulous breakfast. My husband had crepes Versailles and I had the artichoke Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is made fresh per order. His came out first and the sauce broke and they remade mine so it would be perfect. I love their homemade English muffins they make in-house. We took home some chibatta rolls for our lunch sandwiches to make at home alone with a few slices of cake. It was my birthday and I didn't need a whole cake! Rich and delicious!

The coffee was superb. Tried both the artichoke benedict and the fried banana French toast and they were very very good.

We had a bad experience with the service and sadly didn’t get to try the food. I’m sure it would’ve been delicious.

We walked in and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by the employees, as they took 2 phone orders in front of us. A friend of the employees stood at the register chatting with them the whole time, then he walked behind the counter and got bacon out of the fridge and left. Then FINALLY after he left, the employees acknowledged us and then told us our food was going to take 30 minutes. We didn’t want to wait that long, so we left. Very disappointed, maybe we can try to phone in our order next time.

Amazing food, and place was really nice and relaxing with nice staff. The banana french toast is the best I've ever had!

Best breakfast in Newport. They have great coffee. Bloody Mary is spicy and possibly the best I have ever had. The salmon eggs Benedict is to die for, bananas Foster french toast sweet, crunchy deliciousness. Service gets an A+

Food was tasty and well presented. Place was freezing cold. Warm it up and I'd be happy.

I had the peasant omelette and substituted the olives for mushrooms. Absolutely delicious. Also had the fresh squeezed OJ which tasted great.

Coffee was served in large cups and very tasty! Cinnamon roll was divine and the eggs Benedict was amazing and cooked to perfection. Fantastic, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
