This is my favorite mid-morning stop in Hood River (and possibly the world!). If you go with a wing man, you won’t have to decide between their incredible sandwiches and their treasure-stuffed piggies; you can share. The Aztec mochas are amazing too. Do it.

What a fantastic place to have lunch. We had breakfast / lunch there twice while visiting the area. The food is fantastic and and pretty affordable too. Coffee is great too. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

My husband and I took a road trip down to Hood River for the day and decided to stop here because of all the great reviews. I went to order a Caramel Macchiato for us to share and the woman helping us starting going on about how this isn’t starbucks so I’m not going to get what “I’m looking for”. I’m sure she was trying to be informative on what she thought i was “looking for”, but it came across as very condescending. If I was looking for a “starbucks latte” don’t you think I would go to Starbucks?...She then said she would change it to make it more like a Caramel Macchiato would be at Starbucks? Already annoyed at this point I decided not to order any food like we had planned because I was just ready to leave! The “Starbucks caramel macchiato” we received tasted like hot water and milk, no coffee or caramel flavor. We took 2 drinks and threw it out.

Really good food, they have a large selection of home made beakfast and lunch options. Always smells amazing in here. The one thing i’ve learned is never come here when you’re on a time constraint. it takes a long time to get your food even when it’s something simple because they’re always super busy!!

Outstanding bakery. Really good service for such a busy spot. Thumbprint cookies are to die for. Oatmeal shortbread not so good.

Love the Metolius Chai. Great selection of pastries must try the carrot cake, the frosting is delicious. Croissants are so flaky and delicious.

Was hopeful this was gonna be a satellite Grand Central Bakery clone... Disappointed. Not as good as Grand Central. Still decent though for most people... Who have never been to Grand Central. I think Grand Central laces their food with top secret alien yummy flavoroids created in Area 51.

The selection is limited, but the quality doesn't disappoint. We tried the apricot cream scone and a cherry coffee cake, both excellent. Venue is clean and spacious.
