Friendly service. Scones we had were average at best. Honestly tasted like a Bisquick dough, with just a hint of lemon "essence" (lemon cream) or a few chocolate chips. The Mexican mocha was awful. Tasted like bad coffee with a load of cayenne pepper and a touch of cocoa powder.

Fantastic bakery. Great sandwiches for lunch, super fresh and tasty. Baked goods have all been delicious; have to hold back, there are so many great options! Loaf breads are also very very good.

Iced tea with lunch is great, but I pass on their coffee. Still giving them 5 stars because it's a bakery, not a coffee roaster, just beware if you're choosy about coffee theirs is kinda "meh".

Not very friendly. messed my drink order up. I’m not a local and it seemed like the people who were locals got their drinks before me. I gave a three star because their cinnamon roll was amazing. Not a huge selection of pastries mostly bread and muffins. I don’t think I’d go there again.

Picked up an excellent loaf of bread here.

I go there about once a week for breakfast and coffee. It's my favorite spot in town for a quick bite of deliciousness. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even with COVID they remain a refreshing sense of normalcy with their take out service.

I haven't been in the evening since the re-work, but the two meals I had on the night menu in 2016 were spectacular. Now I stop in during the day sometimes, and the Italiano sandwich is just amazing—and definitely the best grab-&-go lunch I've ever found. Their palmier is also the best ever.

GREAT breakfast biscuits, coffee and sandwiches!! We refer people there all the time, only wish it was open an hour earlier!

And as a customer response to the two star review below:
I have been going to Pine Street for years and their food has been top quality, prices are exactly in line with everywhere else and the service is fantastic.. and the food, coffee, lunches, soups and people have been delivering such high quality with consistency for years, hats off to them. Easily a five star rating.

You don't really need me to tell you it's a 5-star establishment. Just judge the quality by the line of customers happy to wait.

The baked goods here are incredible. They have a wide selection of both sweet & savory pastries. Everything looks rustic. I had the pizza & a calzone-like thing that had ham, gruyere & caramelized onions. Both were fantastic. The coffee was also very good. The bakery (which is also a coffee shop) is actually pretty big. It's spacious with places to sit, plus a back area with booths & tables if you want to bring your laptop and work. It's right in the center of downtown Hood River so there are lots of other stores nearby. There are lots of windows so it's very sunny & happy inside. Whether you want to sit & talk for awhile or just quickly grab something to go; whether you're with a group of people or alone, I highly HIGHLY recommend this place.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and their spicy chai is wonderful. Friendly folks and a line out the door that moved pretty fast.
