A great coffee shop to come hang, study, have a little meeting, or just relax. This location has a drive-thru and plenty of parking, especially since the Kaiser office closed next door.
The staff has always been friendly, and the atmosphere us comfortable and welcoming. Depending on the day and hour, it can definitely get packed if you want to go there to study.
They typically have sandwiches or fresh pastries, but they sell out earlier if you aren’t lucky. My go to is the Aztec Mocha with the chocolate whipped cream.
Heads up: I’ve studied in probably every table and booth they got in there, and the booths towards the back have loose wall outlets, so my MacBook Pro charging block would always fall off if you don’t angle it right.

Good break from the usual coffee chains around town, placed was busy when visited but the staff had the line of orders moving quickly but quality was top of mind. Ordered mocha and matcha, welcome change from the usual super sweet concoction from big chain.

I love their coffee so much! The Stag espresso blend is one of the bests. This location is big and bright and open. Makes for a very fun coffee shop experience. Theo pastry case has some wonderful goodies in it, scones, croissants, cookies! Grab a cup and stay or get a bag to go! Can’t go wrong

Very relaxing environment. The coffee and treats are delicious. The service is great. I always enjoy the black forest mocha. Great coffee. I highly recommend getting your caffeine fix here.

Prices are on the upper tier of competitive, but you get what you pay for here. I probably just had the best mocha I've ever had- no kidding. The whip creme is just....wow!, and it was HOT, which I don't always receive. Yeah, I'll be back.

Have been waiting in line for exactly 28 minutes and it doesn’t look to end any time soon. Truly the worst experience from any coffee shop ever. Skip this and go literally anywhere else. You could drive into downtown Portland and still be faster than this joke.

This Insomnia location would be fine for a leisurely cup of coffee and a giant pastry if you want to hang out. Unfortunately I don't have time for that and had to leave part of my paid-for to-go order behind because it took them too long. I waited 15 minutes for a yogurt, biscuit, and cold drink (nothing to brew, warm up, or majorly prepare). They made the drink wrong (it was half iced tea and half lemonade, I am not sure how anyone can mess that up but they did). I think they were just having a rough day, and unfortunately I was on the receiving end (or not receiving since I left hungry). I would still go back if I had an hour or two for breakfast. The lady that runs the store is really nice, and she's incredibly patient with her young co-workers.

I'm not a coffee person but, they have some amazing cakes.

One of the few coffee places with live music. I like their bar stools. They're the right height. Their book collection is very interesting too. I wouldn't mind sitting there all day. The basketball courts nearby have locals playing all the time. Their dark coffee flavors are exquisite too.

Delicious iced raspberry mocha and cinnamon roll. I had to ask about my cinnamon roll cause they forgot to start heating it up. Apart from the service hickup, which happens a great spot, nice ambiance!
