Old Town Coffee

Cute place right across from the water. I had a soy latte and a yummy slice of peach pie that had a lovely, light and flaky crust. I love that they have local art and pottery on display and for sale. Perfect stop before leaving Florence after an afternoon of walking and shopping.

Probably the best place in town to read or catch up on email. Ample parking, day-old pastries, and not-quite-hot-enough coffee. Features local art.

Awesome coffee, superb atmosphere. There's ample seating and even some outdoor space. It's right on the Port of Siuslaw, so all of the other old town shops are within walking distance. We'll be coming again.

Julie the owner is a horrible, snobby old lady, she’s just out to get your money. You have to pay 50 cents for ice and to use your debit/credit card. Most of the time they don’t have ice either and are out of a lot of things so you probably won’t get what you want to order there. Also more than half of those pasteries aren’t homemade and are way overpriced and just sit in a freezer. Not so very clean inside. Won’t come here again and I advise people not to go and spend your hardworked money. River roasters is on the other side of old town and is a nice coffee spot.

Warm, folksy, friendly and just what we were looking for. All of the coffee is freshly made in a pour-over fashion. The cranberry scones and blueberry muffins are a must-try item. Lots of seating and off the beaten path on the opposite end of Bay Street from the Siuslaw Bridge.

Decided to try this for the first time. Coffee was excellent, pastries were delicious, but the whole thing was ruined by a lady screaming on her phone lol. Not the cafe's fault, but the whole vibe was ruined, sadly.

I've only been once, and ordered a large house to go. I was pleasantly surprised to get to choose my beans, have them freshly ground, and get an excellent cup of pour-over for the road. I will definitely return.

There were two people ahead of me, both older women .The cashier/ Barista was an older women as well and chatted up both of the ladies in front of me, all perky and smiley. When she was assisting the last lady in front of me, they talked for over 20 minutes. I was waiting forever to order a latte. Then when it was my turn, her attitude AUTOMATICALLY turned very cold and standoffish. She didnt greet me,smile or anything. So finally I said, "hello" and asked if she had any alternatives to regular milk. she sighed and said what they had. After having a bad attitude with other questions about my order and waiting for way longer than necessary, I said , "cancel my order" and left. Being 20 years old and looking very young for my age, I seem to get a lot of disrespect from older people. It's horrid. I worked as a barista/manager at a coffee shop since I was 15. No matter what age, sex or race, you treat everyone equally and have amazing customer service.

The woman making the coffee was extremely rude. Looking at my 8 year old daughter, she asked what "the girl with the nasty hair" wanted. My daughter has dreadlocks. They are clean. My daughter is a kind soul who wouldn't hurt a fly or ever say a mean thing to or about anyone. She is quiet and well behaved. She in no way deserved this woman's vitriol. I took my children outside and their grandmother stayed behind to tell the woman she didn't appreciate her comment. The woman then said that "someone has to tell her, since you obviously dont."

If this is what passes for customer service in this place, I won't be back.

The coffee is great and affordable. There are cute things to buy for gifts while you're there. Indoor and outdoor seating. Everything is clean and well maintained. Excellent service.
