The coffee: Was just "alright", nothing mind blowing. The barista seemed competent.
The location itself: Decor was quaint with a "hometown vibe" however the set-up also makes it feel cramped and does not lend itself to any kind of social distancing.
Value: major down points on this front, I felt nickel and dined for every choice, charged for things I've never been charged elsewhere, worse not even told about the upcharges until pay time. Some of the bigger offenders here is charging consumers to swipe a card. This should be built into your cost. Also offensive is selling Costco pastries as overpriced "home baked" goods. Specially when the nearest Costco is 60 miles away... How old are those pastries. There should be a level of respect for your consumer. Being on the boardwalk and having a steady stream of tourist doesn't mean you pretend they have no choice.

I was appalled at the “service” provided by the owner. I cannot understand why someone who obviously hates people and customer service would choose to own and operate a customer service business. We were a happy friendly group (including my 92 yo grandma with a walker) looking forward to enjoying some coffee drinks at this spot over an hour before close (so there was no rush). It was a weekday and not much else going on. We happily greeted the owner and her dog, and she proceeded to be absurdly rude and nasty to us as we contemplated our order. For absolutely no discernible reason. After being treated so horribly and leaving without a purchase because of it, I came and read the reviews on google. Many others say this same thing. I’ll never know if the coffee or food is good because I’ll never step foot in there again, and highly recommend you don’t either. I hope Dutch Bros puts her out of business quick.

Super cute shop, amazing coffee, and the barista was very nice :) plus there was so many flavors of syrup to add to your coffee!

Incredibly charming and cozy little coffeeshop boasting a wide variety of roasts and teas. Local artists and artisans are featured on the walls and display shelves, and there's a pleasant smattering of plants around the sitting area. The prices are great and the service is friendly. Five out of five!

We had awful lattes here today...my wife and I threw them out after a few sips. The young lady had no idea how many grams were going into the shot, or how long she was extracting the coffee. The coffee wasn't ground fresh, she just dosed the already ground coffee into the portafilter. She steamed the milk far too long and it was way too hot. Please educate your staff on how to pull a good shot of espresso. I expected a lot more from a "coffee roaster"... It really was the worst latte we've had in Oregon. Please do better.

Super friendly staff, cozy & quiet atmosphere, wifi, outlets, had a great soy latte at a great price. Loved that they were open until 6pm when I was there, it's hard to find coffee shops in smaller towns open past 3pm. Only complaint I have is that the benches were cold because they weren't cushioned like the rest of the chairs, but that's pretty minor. Overall would definitely recommend, and if I ever come back to Florence I'll be visiting again.

Honestly such a fantastic and cute shop! Reminds me of some cute house shops in Portland. But even more so, the baked goods are so good! Fresh made and such unique flavours, I love the blackberry banana bread

I was treated very well considering I've been camping a few days. 10 am on a Friday very laid back and pleasant. Beautiful inside with art for sale. I had apple pie and chai which were delicious. Small outdoor area to sit if you have a dog. This was a very nice place.

Old Town Coffee has a double level of visiting room separated by only 3 steps. The shop is filled with local artisans work: fiber, jewelry, ceramics, paintings, etc. Hats off to the owner for displaying local art! And, the coffees are great as well as the home baked goods.

More than once now I have seen the very, very rude side of the owner of this coffee house! She is especially rude to anyone from another area besides Florence. She insults anyone from California and all of Europe so far that I have witnessed! I was not going to bother with this review after she told us how horrible our home town is in Northern CA. But weeks later watching her do the same thing to a couple of sweet young college girls with their Mom visiting them from CA, I could not let this go. The girls looked so hurt and their Mom looked horrified and lowered her head. We will not be visiting this establishment ever again! Feeling badly that we did not speak up. I think we were in shock! Avoid this place- I have never experienced anything like this in my 52 years!
