Brick & Mortar Café

My daughter and I had breakfast at Brick & Mortar yesterday and we enjoyed the delicious, beautifully presented food; friendly and caring servers. I highly recommend this cafe!

This is a gem of a restaurant in a small town. I went to OSU for three years and never made my way over to this place in Albany until post graduation. My local friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Their menu has great beverage options (definitely need to try the mimosa flight next time) Bloody Mary was delicious and spicy as requested. The corn beef hash was tasty and had lots of flavor. Plus for also making firmly poached eggs - a lot of places can’t do that. Can’t wait to go back!

Have been here a few times now and it's always a treat. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is always friendly. Get here early or you will be waiting in line. I try to get here around opening time. Tried the Lavender and Honey Latte that was very good and got the Veggie hash which was filling and delicious as well.

There was a short wait for a table. All the customers were complimenting their meals.

We're trying to lose weight and halfing the chicken fried steak was PERFECT for 2. (Down 60 pounds! Portions are important!)

Great funky, foodie stop with options for everyone. Breakfast/brunch/lunch only, they close at 2pm.
Feel free to start with a coffee and pastry, but be aware on weekends and busy days (random Thursday morning anyone?) there can be up to a 2 hour wait.

Today was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. I ordered chicken and waffles and my husband had the blue cheese and bacon omelette. The place was packed for reason. We ordered a mocha and a chai tea latte while we waited. The barista did an amazing job as they were both delicious and beautiful. We will definitely be coming back!

Food came out wrong, when they returned with correct order it was cold. Not one to ever complain or write a review. However with a combination of horrible service, tasteless food, and dirty environment I need to share.

I really liked this place. I had the smoked salmon hash and it was delicious! The bloody Mary was good too, but a little spendy. I will definitely go back. Service was good enough.

Had breakfast this morning chicken fried steak was amazing hand breaded steak!! Not premade gf had chicken and waffles it also was amazing definitely a must try!! we will for sure will be visiting them again soon

This place is spectacular. Charming space, friendly and efficient staff, and food to remember for a lifetime. Well worth the short wait for a table.
