Very good drinks, friendly service. The Promised Land latte was excellent. The chai latte was a little too spicy for my taste, but the overall flavor was good.

They know how to make a latte!!! The best I have found in OH. I have gotten their merchandise and it is great! Their bag coffee is amazing! Baked goods are awesome! Can't say enough good things about this coffee shop ❤😁

amazing service and even better coffee! super cute employees, we went this past weekend and it was super cold and they let us bring our puppies in! we loved it 12/10 recommend to everyone :)

Awesome experience. Stopped in today right before their closing time, and the lady on staff was happy to fix me a lavender latte, which was delicious. I haven’t been able to find them anywhere, and it tasted just like the ones I make at home. I purchased a bag of beans as well, which taste fantastic in my Flair. Will be back soon!

I love the new Rising Star coffee shop. Right here in Lakewood, it's the perfect distance from home to get a ton of work done. The staff are awesome people, always friendly and helpful. Super welcoming! Come check it out! Tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee today, delicious!! ☕😋

Great coffee, really recommend the hot latte and hot vanilla bean latte!

While the atmosphere and space is nice I was not a fan at all of the actual coffee. I have had plenty of coffee and love almost every cold brew I've ever met but this one was not a fave at all. It was very bitter and almost thick. I would try again and see if another beverage is to my liking but they also dont have very many sugar free or sugar substitute options, and need more.

first, let me say, the coffee is great. they have great drinks and they make them well. however, every time i have been to this location my order somehow gets lost, or mixed up, or forgotten about. i watched 4 people that were behind me get their drinks before someone asked if i needed help with anything even though i was standing there waiting for my drink lol. they always make it up to me and i’ve scored a few free drinks / drinks they made wrong, but i wish the communication behind the bar, or the process of communicating what someone ordered and who they are was better. i don’t order anything over the top either, i usually order a drink right off the menu. this also happened to my friends when i took them to rising star for the first time and i felt bad because i felt like i didn’t take them to best place because their drinks also got made wrong / forgotten about. really i just hope to see that aspect of this location improve, but other than that, if you’re in lakewood, they have really good coffee that i recommend.

The coffee is great. Whether it be a pour over or a latte, you won’t be disappointed. Small quiet spaces for reading a book or meeting a larger crowd. During the warmer months the back patio is amazing. Staff is very friendly. Drink prices are average

Some of the best coffee in Cleveland. I've been test-tasting as many espresso bars around town as I can and so far rising Star in Ohio City and in Lakewood are in the top 3. They know how to make a good espresso drink, and the service is always impeccable. Presentation is neat with the tray and the soda water, a nice touch. They have breakfast burritos some days as well. Go there.
