Rising Star Coffee Roasters

We got a chai latte and a vanilla latte! Tasty and warm. The complementary sparkling water was an unexpected touch! I liked that the cafe allowed for a lot of natural lighting. A Saturday afternoon is quite busy, and there were college students doing work. The public restroom was quite large! It has artwork on the walls too. The front of the cafe has things you can buy (branded merchandise, lavender honey, and other items).

I love coffee and I hate getting kicked square in the dong. So far, this place has always had great coffee and zero dong punts. 10/10 would latte

Summary: a small cafe in town with big tastes and awesome staff! They roast their own coffee beans. Their coffee is amazing and you can buy their coffee beans/grounds to enjoy at home!

Stopped in town for a night and discovered this awesome coffee shop. Stopped in the next morning to try out what all the hype is about and they did not disappoint. Apparently they roast their own coffee beans and they're pretty well known across the country! I had bought a bag home and when I had guests over, they recognized the brand!

During our visit, we even got a short tutorial of how to do the perfect pour over. My husband ordered 2 cups of coffee that morning because it was THAT good! Highly recommend if you're a coffee person!

My first time visiting Rising Star was a very pleasant experience. I sat down to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. To my surprise they even draw cute stuff in the fuzz on top of your drink. So cool.

I was a bit hungry and a bit disappointed when they did not serve food, but hey...their a coffee shop!!

There are a good amount of beverage options, though. Between many coffees and teas that they have available you should be able to find something that suits your fancy.

The atmosphere here is a really strong selling point. It's very chill and relaxed. A great place to work or study if you can do so on the go. If you're like me and like to eat when drinking tea and/studying then you can pick up a quick bite from some of the surrounding restaurants. ^_^

Unbelievable coffee shop! Very good all round- the staff, the environment, and most importantly- the coffee! One of the best around without a doubt.

Just want to say best roasters in all the Land but the fact that there is a shop in Lakewood almost isn't fair to everyone else in the market considering most of them use Rising Star coffees. The baristas are great and make the best espresso in town I felt high after my first experience here. Great place to nerd out.

Such a cute place! There's a little cooler with wraps and a small assortment of grab&go; solid selection of hot drinks: coffee, espresso, tea (with dairy milk, oat milk, and almond milk options); some kitchenware like aeripresses, matcha whisks, strainers&bowls, etc. In the bakery case there were vegan cookies, brownies, zucchini bread, and macarons, as well as gluten-freee muffins. We brought a couple of our reusable to-go cups and got our drinks made in those to reduce waste. I really really recommend the zucchini brownies 😍

Rising Star is one of the best coffee shops in Lakewood. If you enjoy different espresso roasts, this is the spot for you. They always rotate different blends to try. I go here for straight espresso because it's just that good, but they offer unique seasonal coffee drinks as well. Friendly and cute, trendy location. Great pricing, I will always advocate for this Rising Star location for your daily coffee runs.

Their drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is calm. A nice little coffee shop. Only downside is how echoey it is inside.
