Ghostlight Coffee (Historic South Park)

Had the “Soul Chai” and a Tuscan bagel this morning. Both were some of the best I’ve ever had. The prices were a bit high. There are lots of overpriced coffee houses out there. Here, I believe you get what you pay for. I’ll be returning whenever I’m in Dayton.

Very nice, historic building that makes a good cup of coffee. Their menu was outdated and missing a lot, so we had to change our orders. However, the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed the cleanliness with our biggest gripe being the parking, but what can you do?

My husband and I have a weekly ritual to visit this coffee shop in the mornings, the coffee is so addicting AND VEGAN choices is a huge plus. BUT more importantly The most chill, nostalgic coffee shop with all the warm vibes! We love the atmosphere, I love that they keep the old school eclectic environment but with modern menu choices. I hope they never lose their quirkiness

Great coffee. A couple times it was kinda cold, but always delicious. Great vegan food. Used to get some unfriendly service, and they forgot one of our items once, but lately the service has been a lot better. Definitely would recommend. Small, so don't go during busy times if you want a seat. Real cozy though.

A very hip coffee shop in Dayton that has some great coffee and pastries. It is a great place to hang out with some friends and have a nice conversation. Great service, even better coffee, and a super chill vibe. I’m very happy to have this lovely coffee shop in my own backyard.

A great local coffee shop with a unique atmosphere and wonderful customer service

This is a nice little coffee shop. It smells delicious. I don't know for sure because I don't drink it, but people say they have great coffee. I can attest that they have great hot chocolate!

That being said, you are supposed to behave a certain way here and if you've never been before or only come in once a year and forget, the staff is very standoffish and reluctant to help. For instance, what am I supposed to do with my empty mug? Nobody is clearing or wiping tables, so empty mugs go SOMEWHERE. But where? Like the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know.

Also, all their pastries are vegan. So if you're looking for a moist, fluffy muffin, these aren't that. The apple hand pies are pretty good, though.
