Ghostlight Coffee (Historic South Park)

Great coffee! Glad to get to visit while I was in town, looking forward to coming back.

I have visited the Ghostlight Coffee (South Park location; in Dayton on Wayne Ave.) on several occasions. The staff is pleasant, the service time is decent and the selection is great for what you need in a coffee spot. They offer a variety of pastries that rotate regulary. The "Ghost Tart" (Cinnamon) and the Biscotti (Butterfinger) were my picks for this trip. The Tart was the better of the 2, but I can't say that either was a huge hit. Maybe my next visit the pastries will be more stand-out (open to trying the other options Ghostlight has to offer). Online and in store pick-up are an available, so you can choose which one works better for you. Great place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere.

I stopped here after a 10k race to refuel and to check out a local place that had vegan options. I got a coffee with almond milk and a vegan muffin. Both were delish.

Great selection of NA spirits and the coffee smelled fantastic. I only had a minutes, but I will be back.

Ghostlight has a nice sense of charm, fun artwork, pleasant staff, and mediocre coffee and pastries. It's a comfortable place to sit for a while and work or chat with friends. The seating has become more limited over the past few years, but when I was there most recently I did not have any problem finding a table to work from. The staff is very pleasant, although the espresso in my breve latte was somewhat bitter and I didn't enjoy the coffee enough to finish it. I did not notice any issues with internet connectivity while there.

Stopped into this place a few times on my visit. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious. Gonna try the baked goods next visit. Sustainable cups and lids.

First timer here. Super cute. Excellent coffee. Convenient parking. Great seating. My only concern was ... I asked for the bathroom key. She said “I can’t give it to you until you’ve ordered.” I had already ordered my drink from the gentleman, she didn’t take my word for it, confirmed with him first, then gave the key. I found this unnecessarily petty and silly…you may want to update your policy.

I love both of the ghostlight locations in dayton, but the historic south park location is my current favorite. The baked goods are divine, the drinks are amazing. the aesthetic is lovely and comfortable, and while it is a busy coffee shop I never have issues in the mornings before work having enough peace here to get some work done without being distracted or overwhelmed. I highly suggest this coffee shop.
