The Sawmill Cafe and Catering

My sister and I went in for a quick lunch. The staff, particularly our server, were so friendly. We had a tasty chicken salad plate, and an absolutely incredible grilled cheese, with the best creamy chicken and veggie soup! I'm looking forward to eating there again!

Came at 10:20 and they still made lunch for me! Awesome food. GRAVY IS DELICIOUS OH MY.

The worse food EVER! They catered for my 20th anniversary and it was so embarrassing! The shrimp and grits were fishy tasting and the shrimp were very mealy. Also the Chicken Marsala was not like any I have ever had before and it was not good! So many of my guests said they would not eat here that the only thing that was decent were the sides and the beef tips. My husband called and addressed the situation and the owner gave us a $100 credit on a $1500 order. The owner also ran our credit card and we did not authorize it which is very illegal. As the owner of a restaurant when a customer has a bad experience, it is up to them to make it right and he did not!

Great basic breakfast. My husband would rate higher. I prefer places with more healthy options. It's traditional breakfast basics which if youre into youd live it here. We will be back. .

Very busy local diner! We arrived with 6 people, the service was great, staff was super friendly, and great food at reasonable prices. The food was home-style, fresh and very tasty!

Down home country cooking at it's best. With a touch southern hospitality makes it even better.
