The Sawmill Cafe and Catering

The ladies at the counter were great helping me choose my order. Unfortunately, when I began eating my to-go order I discovered it was not what was described. No lemon pepper on my tilapia and shrimp, but an over abundance of seasonings that prohibited me from enjoying or even finishing the meal.

Everything on the menu is amazing . And the wait staff are all so pleasant.

I had a terrible experience today I ordered a shrimp and when I received my order which was a to go order the firecracker shrimp seem to have no sauce I called the restaurant back and told them that the shrimp did not have any sauce they said that’s fine just come in and will give you another one. As soon as I arrive the owner/cook came back and told me I put sauce on that I’m not giving you another one I said OK bro your server told me that I was receiving another one I never asked one I just wanted sauce is I’ll give you sauce but I’m a let you know I put one. Told him I’m pretty sure you did it and like I’m just a customer and let you know it was just dry he knows it’s not what I expected. He said he doesn’t believe me so I go and beat get my order back from my house and bring it back to him and show him the dry thing and he says well it’s dried the sauce has dried on there.If you’re an owner of a restaurant and the customers complaining about your food you don’t give people attitude you either give him a refund or make him a new or you just don’t give him attitude and do what you want but this man gave me attitude and had the worst experience and I recommend nobody should go eat here and I am not happy with my experience if there’s a franchise owner for sawmill this owner should be terminated from his rights to the restaurant

Every time I we eat there i have to send my meal back to be heated. The hush puppies are cooked in the same grease as the seafood. About to give up trying to eat there. Great place for us because we live so close to your restaurant. Hope this post will help and things will get better

Great food and a very hospitable staff. It's a small place but there are plenty of seats between tables and bar seating. We ordered breakfast and it was cooked exactly like it should be and it came out quickly! I'd definitely recommend stopping by and I'll be returning to try the rest of their menu!!

Great food great price the only thing is, same of the server have preference over the client but the last time I have a excellent server thanks. I do recommend this restaurant.

Listen! The Saw Mill is on Castle Hayne Rd in Wrightsboro and EVERYTHING that we ate there was AWESOME! They have great varietys and Personal Service like we were family! It was a Thursday evening and the place was PACKED but we were served quickly! Not being familiar with the menu it took us a few minutes to decide but the wait staff was very patient and friendly and the food was mouth watering delicious! We took out the dessert, strawberry cake, and had it with coffee at home and IT was delicious too. We would DEFINITELY recommend THE SAWMILL to anybody. A BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK! Try it and see for yourself! 😁👍♥️

Service was good, food was mediocre but there was a lot of people there for a week day lunch (short wait to be seated) so other folks must really like it
