NEW REESES DONUTS! They come in 3 different reeses inspired flavors. Salty Sweet Crunch, Salty Sweet Crisp and Outrageous. The minus one star is because one of donut flavors was missing the advertised potato stick topping. Other than that the service was fast and friendly and the donuts tasted great.

The hot light was on (and still should be as it says between 5 and 7) when we pulled through and the donuts are not only cold, but they’re old. The lobby was closed when we tried to walk in, and the cashier was snippy when she told us the app didn’t work when we scanned to pay. We added $20 to the app to pay and it didn’t work. So there goes $20 on top of the additional $19.77 to pay for cold donuts and 2 milks! Memorial Day weekend, you would think they’d want to try and beat their competition down in Carolina Beach… maybe this is why Britt’s line is down the boardwalk!

Krispy cream donuts are my favorite.the particular shop was also nice, there were just couple of people before getting served. It has ample parking space.

I love Krispy Kreme donuts. Top tier, no doubt. But this location needs to get its life together. My boyfriend decided to purchase a dozen donuts today, because the hot and ready sign was on. We do not go there unless they are hot and ready, because they are so much better. We drive by quite frequently, and they are never hot and ready. The few times we do get hot Krispy Kreme donuts are very exhilarating, because it is rare. Today, we were crushed when we opened the box upon leaving, to find the donuts were very cold. It was extremely disappointing, and we would not have purchased them if we had known. We were in a rush and unable to return and address the issue. Maybe one day we will get hot Krispy Kreme donuts again…

A friend and I took our kids to Krispy Kreme yesterday morning and we had such a great experience! The staff was so sweet and attentive, and the donuts were hot and delicious! Thank you for taking great care of us 😊

I'm reviewing this based on today's visit. Normally, this place is awesome and have never had an issue until today. Used the app at the drive through for the points. Cashier had no clue how to handle it (just use the hand held scanner). The biggest issue with today's visit was the quality of the donuts. Way too much glaze and it never even touched the bottom of the donuts. I like glazed but come on! Even someone with no training could look at these and figure out it's not right.

(Update: one year later and thought we'd give it another try. I wish I could remove the one star! What's KK famous for? Glazed donuts, well their glaze machine doesn't work! This place is pathetic.) Terrible service! We waited 35 minutes in the carline to be told they were only selling regular original glazed. The line was wrapped all the way around the building. By the time we got our donuts it was 50 minutes. Would have drove off after being told at the speaker that we could only get regular donuts but we waited 35 minutes and wanted something. Employees were "robots" that were completely unapologetic and unfriendly. We even called the number listed on their website to ask if the dining room was open and after calling twice and letting it ring until it timed out, no one answered. There were 4 or 5 employees inside when we got there and it seemed like only one person was running around working while the rest were huddled up talking. This used to be our regular stop while on vacation here but it ended tonight.

A few weeks ago we pulled up to the drive- thru. After a few minutes they finally told us the drive-thru was closed and we had to come inside. As we walked in we noticed 4 employees on break outside smoking. 1 employee was inside working. We were in line with about 5 to 6 other customers. After waiting a few minutes, one employee walked in and went to the drive-thru register and appeared to log out, then turned to the one employee working and asked her to clock her out because she was leaving. Another employee came in and walked straight to the donuts and began loading trays of them into the case up front. No gloves and never washed her hands from being on a smoke break. We had been in line for several minutes and the first person was still being waited on. Two employees remained outside smoking. At this point we left. This was not the first problems with the Wilmington location. The staff are unfriendly and unprofessional. Definitely needs management changes. Will we go back? Not looking good!

The customer service is horrible here including the manager. I was there when the man became very upset. While he may have gone a little bit too far, it was understandable. The workers make you feel like you are disturbing them and are an inconvenience.
I had said I would never return to this location in the past but my son wanted a donut so I gave it another chance. In my opinion the only reason this location is open is because people love the donuts. Eventually with the way customers are treated their love of the product is not going to matter. It's really sad, I remember going to Krispy Kreme with my Dad and enjoying it. Hopefully someone will step in and fix the issues at this location.

The product was good. Literally everything else was terrible. Customer service non existent. Tried to pick up a doordash at the drive thru because the parking lot was closed for God knows why. And they told me to come in and get it. Any reason they couldn't have just handed it to me thru the window? I never do reviews and I couldn't wait to do this one. Fire everyone and start over or just shut it down.
