Quaint, little coffee shop, with some breakfast items. A little pricey, but we'll worth it. Outside seating is along Glenwood Ave which can be busy and noisy. Overall a nice place to enjoy a coffee with friends.

This place has changed a lot over the years and the shorter hours mean I can rarely visit, but I’m a big fan of the atmosphere and the coffee can’t be beat

What's the point of a coffee shop that won't even let people come inside?

I took the money I would have spent going to this place and the other nearby coffee shops that are too scared to open and bought a Nespresso machine instead.

Memo to Third Place: you are killing your own business.

Third place is my favorite coffee shop in Raleigh. They have delicious coffee and a ton of food options... From baked goods to breakfast burritos. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.

The ideal coffee shop. Cozy but not TOO cozy (i.e. claustrophobic), with a nice assortment of baked goods and some comfy couches and chairs so you can hang out for a while. And free Wi-Fi, of course. They also sell a nice assortment of beans to take home. Very warm and welcoming.

I was only there with a friend for lunch for a very short time, but I enjoyed it. It's more like a real coffeehouse, and less commercial. The food is also heavily skewed to the vegetarian and vegan end of the scale. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, there is wi-fi, and curiously enough they use an iPad to check you out.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any loose leaf tea, but they're not known for their teas. I ordered a ginger tea, a hummus and tabouli wrap (served with nachos and fresh pico), and a slice of banana bread. The tea was OK, the hummus and tabouli wrap was good (but not very good), but the banana bread was EXCELLENT.

So I encourage everyone to go. If you're not a big fan of vegetarian and vegan cuisine, you probably won't find much to entertain you on the menu. However, the banana bread is definitely worth your time.

I have been here 5 separate occasions over the past 2 months and on every occasion my order has been delivered incorrectly or not at all. Everything on the menu is also pretty expensive for the quality and definitely not worth the wait. Its a cool location so I would only recommend Third Place if you don't plan on ordering anything.

This is probably one of the cutest coffee shops that I have been to in a while. The staff was super friendly and the latte I ordered was (no lie) the best latte I've ever had. And they do latte art!
