Quirky little place. Very fast service, good coffee, and a wide variety of teas. They also sell old cassette audiobooks and dog treats.
The photo I took is not exactly accurate since it's a panorama, but the wall with selfies of the owner is just flat, not bulging. Space is a bit small, but there are 3 tables outside for additional seating.

Love it, such friendly people, which is half the reason I go anywhere to get a fancy coffee. The coffee is excellent, vibe is fun. Wish they were open 24 hours ;)

My personal favorite is an iced vanilla latte, and Third Place has one of the best I've ever had. I also love the BLGT bagel sandwich (bacon lettuce goat cheese and tomato). Also for people complaining about the noise, have you never been to a coffee shop before? This is the norm. I've seen plenty of people work diligently (and done so myself).

Fun, little coffee shop. Nothing fancy, but the pastries are fresh and the coffee always good and hot. Love the way the decor changes over time. Parking is a little ify, but worth it if you're in the Five Points area.

An archetype of the independent neighborhood coffee shop. Goes without saying that the coffee and espresso drinks are good, with beans from Larry’s Coffee, which is less than a mile away. Good food for breakfast and lunch as well. But just hang out here for a little while and see all the regulars come and go and you get a feel for its place in the neighborhood. If you live nearby you’re almost guaranteed to see someone you know while you’re there. Only downside is that parking can be a challenge if you are driving. But you’ll figure it out.

Recommended by Larry's Coffee, their products are sold here. My latte and my friend's food were delicious, a really cute local coffee shop. Staff were very friendly, if we lived in Raleigh I know this would become a favorite.

The coffee was absolutely disgusting - If I hadn't been in such a rush I would have come back in and gotten a refund. The coffee was burnt tasting and the cream was overcooked and oily.
Also, the barista did not explain to me why a medium latte was $8.05?? Complete ripoff. Never coming back and I don't recommend it. My coworker got a small latte and it wasn't good either - again the coffee was burnt tasting.

They used to be open until 7pm, and then it changed to 5pm, and then it changed to 2pm, and then it changed to noon. Not only that, but they haven't allowed customers to set foot in the store for over a year. Really confused as to why they're still in business or why they don't at least hand the store over to someone who wants to serve customers instead of shunning them.

The BLGT sandwich was delicious! A good amount of spinach and cheese. Staff were courteous and prompt. Will go back.

Paid 6$ for a very tiny amount of eggs & bacon on a dirty plate, to be eaten with spotty silverware. In addition, she pointed me to the water but there were no cups but there WAS a gross pile of dirty dishes underneath the water. Counter girl was VERY apathetic and disinterested. Maybe they go downhill during the summer....whatever it was I won’t be coming back! I’d expected better given the reviews......
