This aesthetic coffee shop in Raleigh has amazing lattes and desserts! I love the vibe and the outdoor seating is a plus! They also have food as well but I just tried some desserts!

I ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Coffee Cheesecake. Spent ~$14 including tip. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and sweet as it’s supposed to be but my drink had bits of coffee grounds in it. The texture of coffee cheesecake completely threw me off. The “cheesecake” had the texture of a marshmallow. I personally don’t prefer marshmallows.
Will try again next time by ordering a latte and another dessert.
Vibe of the place was cute and quaint. There’s seating inside and outside. A small parking lot is located to the side of the cafe. Great place for small groups or singles looking for a place to chat, chill, or do work/hw.

Unique dessert creations are what brought us here.
The food was fresh, had great flavor, and looked amazing. But it was very expensive. We bought 9 donuts, one mushroom cheesecake dessert, and one black coffee cost over $60, before tip.

I will say, their Hibiscus donut is perhaps the best donut I've ever had. The Cafe is really tight and busy and loud, so not ideal if you're wanting a place to meet and talk with a friend or do work. The matcha blue butterfly latte with honey lavender literally tasted like steamed milk.... No hint of matcha or honey or lavender and such a disappointment. But, at least it was the prettiest tasteless drink I've ever had!

Vibe + Coffee are nice, would not recommend the desserts, even though they look visually appealing!
I’ve been here a few times, both in the morning and evening. The interior is quite large, enjoyable to sit inside and outside, with ample seating. I tried both their house coffee as well as a latte, and they were good as expected!
The desserts, whilst visually appealing, were a bit of a letdown for me. The mushroom shaped cheesecake is very unique, but it costs about 55% more than the other cakes ($9.40 vs $6), and I wasn’t able to spot the difference in price on the menu, so it’s something to be aware of. I found that and the tiramisu to be both quite gelatinous, which is understandable given the form / shape, but just wasn’t quite my taste. Lastly, the barista serving us knocked over the poor mushroom, so I had to reassemble prior to eating. Not sure why he didn’t notice that before closing the lid.
Overall, a nice neighborhood spot for coffee in the morning!

It's been a while since I've seen a place like Idle Hour. It's a modern and sleek cafe with a fantastic menu. I've now been twice trying a variety of their menu options.
The coffee is very well made, and I love the latte art. Sometimes a garlic, other times a heart, it's always a nice surprise!
The sandwiches are fantastic. The Banh Mi is delicious, as well as the grilled cheese.
The sweets are tasty, some more visual than delicious, but regardless make for a great experience. The macrons were phenomenal, was lucky and able to get seven different flavors.

I LOVE THE COFFEE!!!! THE DESSERTS I BOUGHT 4... THEY ARE PERFECT. The flavor and size is great for when I want something sweet but, not really sweet. The donuts in the morning are really good. I LOVE LOCAL!!! Forget Starbucks, they ain't nobody in my book. I haven't given Starbucks my money since 2010. Overpriced and not friendly. IDLE HOUR IS AWESOME!!!!

We were really excited to try their coffee and food but I was disappointed with the quality I received. I got The G.O.A.T and I would say this half piece of bread is not worth the $8 I payed. I was also disappointed that there was only 1 alternative milk option.

Where do I even start?
I went here with the soul purpose of getting one of their mushroom confections because I saw it on their instagram and I have a mushroom obsession! Look at how adorable this little mushroom is! It is absolutely perfect! Think of all the fun parties you could have featuring this little mushroom! (Alice in Wonderland tea party, woodland fairy party for children, so many options!
It tastes just as beautiful as it looks too! A perfect balance of raspberry and strawberry filling surrounded by a perfectly creamy and smooth cheesecake! It took me 15 minutes just to take the first bite because it was so beautiful I didn't want to mess it up but it was worth it!

We're lucky enough to live walking distance from this amazing coffee shop and stop by at least once a week. The staff is always incredibly kind and ready to answer any questions or suggest their favorite items. Right before work hours on week days and Sunday mornings tend to get busy, so plan for a little extra time if that's when you're headed in.
Their cold brew and nitro are strong but smooth. Their Vietnamese coffee is just the right balance of sweet and strong, and their lattes are always perfectly brewed. You'll wait a little longer for their brewed teas, matcha, or Vietnamese coffee, but it's well worth it. They take their brewing times seriously, and the result is delicious every time.
The banh mi is fantastic. I'm sure their other sandwiches are delicious, but I can never bring myself to order anything else because the banh mi is so good. We haven't explored the dessert case much, but their banana bread is tender, moist, and not overly sweet. You can pair it with a sweetened latte or a cold brew, which we love.
