First of all, vegan options! Awesome. Loved the tofu & mochi donuts. Coffee, tea, and kombucha were all fantastic. Great calm aesthetic as well. Great place to sit back and relax.

Today (1/11/2023) at 9:40am I walked into this establishment from my office located upstairs inside of the Dillon, and as I walked in and stood at the register waiting to be served the young lady that was behind the counter was texting on her phone, never looked up and acknowledged me until I said HELLO, and at that time she said Hey and kept on texting. I walked away from the register and back outside then walked back in and she still took her sweet damn time assisting me. She finally came and rung up my highly expensive $5 plus tax Chocolate banana nut bread slice and walked away to proceed back on her phone.
Not sure who owns this place but if you ever read your reviews, please look at the date and time I presented above and locate that horrible unprofessional employee and re-train her immediately!!

This place is aesthetically pleasing and the Taiwanese inspired food menu is pretty darn good, but operationally they have a lot they could do better. The first is how long it takes to order and get your coffee after you order. Be prepared for a 10-15 min wait just to get your drink, regardless of how many baristas are there (they seem to have several) or how busy the restaurant is. It seems like meandering and slow is their method of operation, and there's zero sense of urgency.
While the food is great, I'm docking a star for the incredibly inconsistent hours in which they serve food. For instance, at noon on Sunday the kitchen was closed, which to me seems like another huge operational miss (and probably why the store was only half full on a day when tons of people are milling around downtown). Have the operators of this spot never heard of Sunday brunch or recognize that people want to eat during those hours? At the very least then make the hours of your food service clear on the website or Google page so patrons don't come in and get disappointed.
When I have ordered their food, it's always been good but again expect very slow and disorganized service (they don't take names so it's hard to tell when yours is ready vs someone else when you order the same item). I think there's a ton of potential for this place hence the 4 stars, but a lot of simple issues that with some leadership and organization could result in a much smoother and better experience for customers.

Gorgeous spot with delicious coffee and pastries. Love that it’s Asian owned. Could have spent all day relaxing, chatting, and enjoying hot beverages in this space.

We definitely enjoyed Heirloom, it has a nice simple look that work well. We got a 5 spice latte and a Xou Fog(?), a tea latte but don't remember the name. Both were very good.

#starbucksWannaBe ... but this place is lower key and more zen than Starbuck (if that's your kind of thing). Staff is super friendly, and the prices really aren't that bad at all. Had the vacuum coffee, not too shabby. Very, tea like in its smoothness, but not super strong.

Fantastic coffee, Latte of Cappuccino both taste amazing. Feels like being in Italy. Very comfortable seats plenty of space. Music subdued in the background and non intrusive. Guests here very considerate when talking. People can even read a book here. Best coffee spot in Raleigh so far.

Came in for tea, and left very pleased! The vibe in here is really modern and chill; they have a beautiful area decorated with dried flowers. I got chamomile tea, it took some time but it was absolutely wonderful! The matcha cookies are TO DIE FOR. The food menu is fairly small but what I saw coming out looked really good. Would love to come back and try more!

I’m not from Raleigh, I visited this place while I was visiting family. The design is wonderful and also the coffee is delicious. Enjoyed this coffee.

Not sure the right term of this but I’m gonna call it matcha donut. It is GOOD! I love it and I wanna try the ube flavor next time. The coffee shop is very pretty as well.
